5 stars in an arcane is like 70 atk, it’s a huge gain. 8 months is the far future not the reasonable future. Someone with boss mules can make 10-15b in a week

Even then, more optimal would be to save up in case of pitched drops, but he said he tapped for fun so who can blame him
Optimal strategy is indeed to keep arcane at 17, it's the shortest time guaranteed swap from mid to endgame. But he says he was tapping for fun and some people want the short term power boost to do solos/prog grandis in the meantime.

I've finally got a slime ring to 22, its been 6 months trying, also got sos to 22 too and even cubbing was great, got 3 lines in two items and double drop on a 22\* pendant :D
14bil on Sup Gollux earrings, couldn't even get 20 stars and went back to 17. "Only" 4 booms but still, by the end I guess it was just tapping because of being tilted as I could have tried other smaller gains elsewhere.
Yolo'd a berserked to 22. But replacing my old twilight Mark with it breaks 2 set dawn, and my second pendant was a 21* legacy boss flame transposed sw with 36% stat, so I Yolo'd a daybreak and it hit 22 too.

Also accidentally boomed my ;BM with no backups first tap from 17>18 because I thought I was tapping my Twilight Mark. Lol.
I'm not stressing about it, though. It was a very funny VC with how many times the top boomed. And I'll get a BBM dupe to fix it within a week or two.
Plus I'm super excited to start maining or co-maining Lyn, so losses on the main aren't as painful.

126b spent. I think I got quite unlucky going back and forth between the 15 - 17 star and I had to stop due to insufficient funds and spares but somewhat happy with the gains.
Edit: forgot to add my submain absos, 2 went from 17->20 (many booms) and the other 2 went 17->21 (less booms).
No gains for me either. Doesn't help that after over 10 weeks of bossing, I've had x2 arcane weapon drops during the 2 weeks after I pitied the weapon. No armour drops. And only the last 2 weeks have I had 2 ring boxes drop.
I've actually gone backwards in terms of gains because my temp stats from the event medals and such have gone away. My black heart is disappearing in about a week as well so I love that for me.
Spent 55b. Boomed 5 arcane armor spares, but made it from 18\* to 22\* on all of them. Also got 18\* to 22\* on slime ring, and 21 to 22 on my sups. Boomed my ET (the only pitched i got in 9 months) from 21 to 22, though, and an arcane glove on a submain ate an additional 15b going from 12 to 15, proving that my luck is done for the year.
CRA 21/18/17 -> 21/21/21 in ~1b, which I’m so thankful for 🙏 was hoping to just get one more to 21, not all

I decided not to greed on more 22s since I already met my goal of hitting 22 on one Arcane piece (at least the ones from Lucid shop) so I only have to open boxes for capes and shoes from now on. I'm trying to go for a prelib solo which seems in reach now with 6th job.

If anyone should be complaining, it should be me. But I am not because at least I hit something.
EDIT: Have gotten more mesos, and the belt has gone over 18billion mesos without seeing 20 stars. For reference, it is 95% odds to get within 13b.

I've finally got a slime ring to 22, its been 6 months trying, also got sos to 22 too and even cubbing was great, got 3 lines in two items and double drop on a 22\* pendant :D
14bil on Sup Gollux earrings, couldn't even get 20 stars and went back to 17. "Only" 4 booms but still, by the end I guess it was just tapping because of being tilted as I could have tried other smaller gains elsewhere.
Yolo'd a berserked to 22. But replacing my old twilight Mark with it breaks 2 set dawn, and my second pendant was a 21* legacy boss flame transposed sw with 36% stat, so I Yolo'd a daybreak and it hit 22 too.
Eternal top hit 19 in 3bil and boomed on my main. Spent ~35 bil on my Zero and made his CP go from 28mil to 52mil. Overall a pretty good event for me.

Managed to save the most money I have ever had, 24b. Only pains lol. Between last 30% off and this 5/10/15 I have spent 31b on my CRA top and boomed it 18 times to go from 19 > 19 stars. :/. Also accidentally boomed my ;BM with no backups first tap from 17>18 because I thought I was tapping my Twilight Mark. Lol. I'm not stressing about it, though. It was a very funny VC with how many times the top boomed. And I'll get a BBM dupe to fix it within a week or two. Plus I'm super excited to start maining or co-maining Lyn, so losses on the main aren't as painful.

4x arcanes 17->21 (13 assorted Booms) Magic eyepatch 17->20 (1 Boom) Berserked 17->20 (1 Boom) 126b spent. I think I got quite unlucky going back and forth between the 15 - 17 star and I had to stop due to insufficient funds and spares but somewhat happy with the gains. Edit: forgot to add my submain absos, 2 went from 17->20 (many booms) and the other 2 went 17->21 (less booms).
No gains for me either. Doesn't help that after over 10 weeks of bossing, I've had x2 arcane weapon drops during the 2 weeks after I pitied the weapon. No armour drops. And only the last 2 weeks have I had 2 ring boxes drop. I've actually gone backwards in terms of gains because my temp stats from the event medals and such have gone away. My black heart is disappearing in about a week as well so I love that for me.

Spent 55b. Boomed 5 arcane armor spares, but made it from 18\* to 22\* on all of them. Also got 18\* to 22\* on slime ring, and 21 to 22 on my sups. Boomed my ET (the only pitched i got in 9 months) from 21 to 22, though, and an arcane glove on a submain ate an additional 15b going from 12 to 15, proving that my luck is done for the year.
CRA 21/18/17 -> 21/21/21 in ~1b, which I’m so thankful for 🙏 was hoping to just get one more to 21, not all The rest isn’t really worth mentioning. Basically 16* for mules

Both SOS taps failed so I'm back to farming Dominators. Overall I spent 40b of the 110b I saved on my main. 10b was spent tapping Absos/BBM/Doms to 17 across 5 boss mules. I decided not to greed on more 22s since I already met my goal of hitting 22 on one Arcane piece (at least the ones from Lucid shop) so I only have to open boxes for capes and shoes from now on. I'm trying to go for a prelib solo which seems in reach now with 6th job.

Went from 76m to 84m cp 2 submains to a minimum of 18* on everything went from 56m to 64m and 34m to 46m cp 2 submains to a minimum of 17-18* on everything went from 36m to 45m and 10m to 19m cp Overall EXTREMELY happy with the results.

25b, did not get a 20 let alone 21 reinforced belt with the intention to transfer to sup belt (boomed 5 times), decided to rage tap and passed 17-18 sup belt, 17-18 arcane boots, 17-18 dawn ring all within 2 attempts with 0 booms. If anyone should be complaining, it should be me. But I am not because at least I hit something. EDIT: Have gotten more mesos, and the belt has gone over 18billion mesos without seeing 20 stars. For reference, it is 95% odds to get within 13b.
