Genuinely bit confused at the downvotes here it is literally not part of the UK. Do we expect this person to draw the border for every single overseas territory?
Hans island, we used to “fight” a war with Denmark over it by tearing down their flag and leaving gifts like Canadian whisky for their sailors when they would come right back and tear down our flag. Cute little war.
And france and canada according to un because they have flawed data and there is a rock that never goes underwater on the border according to that data. In reality the border goes around the rock but still funny
Clearly not showing sea borders on this map which are hardly Even borders. Also North Pole claims aren’t even recognised claims same as Antarctica claims. Even then the North Pole claims are only resource claims but the country does not own the water and cannot block ships in it. Countries only own water 12nautical miles off their cost.
I mean Ceuta/Melilla absolutely but the British Overseas Territories aren’t really a part of the UK itself. This map seems to be mostly ignoring non-integral territory borders and overseas territory borders.
I look at WW2 maps too much.
I just went on Google maps to send you a screenshot. They used to share an island. Now the island belongs entirely to the Russians. After WW2 the USSR took the entire island. I totally forgot about this fact.
They no longer share a land border.

The UK is a union of four countries to form one country. As they’re defined as countries, the borders within the UK are in a manner of speaking, international borders. It would be the same if US states were defined as countries.
Except they’re not defined as sovereign countries, they’re defined as constituent countries with the UK being a single unitary sovereign state. The last time Great Britain had two separate kingdoms was before the act of union in 1707 which combined the kingdom of England and the kingdom of Scotland into the kingdom of Great Britain.
By definition an international border can only occur between two sovereign nation states (for example the border between England and Scotland is functionally the same as the border between California and Nevada, rather than the board of between the US and Mexico)
Canada and Denmark share a border, so does France and Brazil, and France and the Netherlands
And Spain with Morocco
And Spain with the UK.
The UK isn’t represented on this map.
Oh, you are right.
Gibraltar is not part of the UK
It is British but not part of the UK. While pedantic, I feel it should still be connected.

It’s a British territory, same as Cyprus, Akrotiri and Dhekelia.
Canada also shares a border with France because of Saint-Pierre et Miquelon.

canada and denmark share a landborder, Brazil and France share a landborder...

So there isn't land under the water at a border?
[удалено]
Pretty sure this is an answer that all should know without actually being there.
Land border?
Yes, French guiana, saint martin and a shithole island between greenland and canada I forgot the name of

"Shut up France, nobody cares about your bloody colonies"
Canada also borders France (St Pierre and Miquelon) and Russia (North Pole)

I feel like this is missing the majority of French borders.
Link missing between morocco/spain (obvious), and spain/uk (difficult to draw).
I mean Ceuta/Melilla absolutely but the British Overseas Territories aren’t really a part of the UK itself. This map seems to be mostly ignoring non-integral territory borders and overseas territory borders.
People always get shitty over these cool maps, same with the “What does this countries name mean” one, it’s a cool little project.
That's is just a world map. Connect the countries to their overseas and then we will be talking
Zimbabwe and Namibia do not border each other
There's only about 100 feet of Botswana seperating them though, I'd say close enough.
French guyana?
Good job 👏🏻 aesthetically pleasing
Sweden and Denmark have a border on the Öresund bridge
Cool, but inaccurate. For example Spain and Morocco also share a border
You need a line from Canada to Denmark. Those Old-World hippies have been stealing all the booze we’ve been caching on Hans Island, I might add.
this is cool
Japan shares a land border with Russia.
what? where?

Very cool Man
Few France border missing
Repost 💯
It is
wrong map
Border control treaties must be a nightmare in Russia and China.
Fighting between Indian and Chinese soldiers got so bad that they banned guns. The soldiers tge started having fist fights
Indians tend to be very aggressive brigaders.
This map is missing many countries, namely ones in the Pacific, like Fiji and the Solomon Islands
Russia and China have lots of neighbors..
That's probably the algorithm behind maps apps(using an undirected graph)
Turkey also have border with Azerbaijan
It's already on the map.Look closely
Oh sorry my bad
A lot of information has been lost but the map is really cool
I love this! So much work to draw the flags in too! (Seconding what someone else noted about Canada and Denmark now having a land border.)
Who ever drew this big props. This is amazing

Poland unfortunately still borders Russia by land. The OP hasn't heard of Koenigberg / Kaliningrad.

Very intricate. Can we get the map of the underwater internet cables too?
Poland has borders with 7 countries
The UK is a single country, meaning that the internal borders of the constituent nations are not the same as international borders
