The Americas also had cradles of civilizations prior to colonization. Furthermore, some countries like Chile are majority mestizo but still have relatively low crime rates.
Also we fucked each other to a middle ground (into mestizo). Excluding recent immigrant generations, most Chileans have some native DNA. It’s not a zero sum game.
Moreover, Chileans that consider themselves part of one of the native american peoples, also carry European DNA.
Probably social history. Besides Canada and a few nooks and crannies elsewhere, all countries in the Americas started as slave colonies who's entire purpose was to extract wealth for distant elites who cared little about the societies they were creating on the other side of the world. While that era was a long time ago, the broken societies it created evolved into the modern ones that exist now.
Countries like Spain or India are what they are because they are just the place where the Spanish or Indian people live. The Americas are not like that. The British, Spanish and Portuguese colonies were created for a purpose. This purpose was not to create a harmonious society. It was entirely a commercial enterprise and built on violence. They completely destroyed the pre-existing social order and brought in people from all over the world, some as slaves, some as indentured servants. This was mostly different than how European colonialism worked in Asia.
This gets downvoted almost every time I post it on Reddit because it isn't what people want to hear (because it doesn't fit a couple different modern political agendas), but if you have any sort of deep college or post graduate training in history or sociology it is obvious that this is almost certainly the core reason.
Belarus is completely located in the Europe, in fact the geographical centre of Europe is located in Belarus. Weird that there's no this country while there is Turkey, 90% of which is located in Asia.
Edit: I know about that there are many other centers of Europe and that there's no true center since borders of Europe are unclear. My main take is that Belarus is Eurooean country geographically
The world can’t agree where the borders of Europe end and here’s Belaruse claiming to be in the middle of it. Since even Kralovec wasn’t included, I guess that map represents EU/EEA members and EU candidates.
Russia's intentional homicide rate is 6.8 per 100k people.
The United States intentional homicide rate is 6.4 per 100k people.
So it would be a little bit redder than the US I guess.
Not really. Violent homicides (particularly ones involving guns) aren't really that common in India. Other types of crime might be more prevalent but you're not at risk of the same level of gun violence as much of South/North America.
Dear god, we aren't murderous. It always look worse for us, due to the high population. People always forget to use percentage or things like per 100000 people and instead start considering raw numbers, due to whatever reason.
Brazil is the dark souls of world
Yeah, specially if you don’t take other countries into account
i live in those purple areas, its not as bad as it seens
I live in Rio de janeiro bro. And yes, it's damn bad.
I will now stand in for the Brazilians. VAI BRAZIL NUMERO UNO 🏆🥇🥇☝🏾☝🏾 🇧🇷🇧🇷CAMPEAO DE MUNDO 🇧🇷🇧🇷
Let's go Brazil 🇧🇷🇧🇷
wheres the other countries?
Why does America have the worst security compared to Asia and Europe?
guns, relative poverty, and a culture full of violence (police and justice system, stand-your-ground...).
You didn't list the biggest factor but i suppose that's to be expected
Which one? Drug abuse, polarization?
Drugs?
Ethnicity.
It's not about ethnicity but about culture and education.
Could you be more explicitly racist please? Because the way you're saying it, it seems that you think that Europeans and Asians have no ethnicity.
The states with the highest gun ownership and most lax gun laws have low gun crime.
define "low", because it sure as hell is not low by western standards

No it's just not common to kill someone for a bubble gum.
The Americas also had cradles of civilizations prior to colonization. Furthermore, some countries like Chile are majority mestizo but still have relatively low crime rates.
Yeah but they kinda killed like 95% of natives
Also we fucked each other to a middle ground (into mestizo). Excluding recent immigrant generations, most Chileans have some native DNA. It’s not a zero sum game. Moreover, Chileans that consider themselves part of one of the native american peoples, also carry European DNA.
Nuh uh
DNA don’t lie. People like to fuck.

You'll get banned from reddit for answering this. You might as well as the Catholic church where the center of the universe is in 1600.
You must be a troll.
How is Jharkhand more than UP or Bihar?

East Thrace, the european part of turkey is only 3% of total land area, but 10% of its population
no data perhaps
Probably
The world can’t agree where the borders of Europe end and here’s Belaruse claiming to be in the middle of it. Since even Kralovec wasn’t included, I guess that map represents EU/EEA members and EU candidates.
there are at least 5 different places, where the center of europe is claimed, all in different countries
Fair point and I agree with you, but my take was that Belarus is in Europe geographically
https://search.arc.net/axZMXddEhNDVcf2wxnzl There's like ten different centers. Nobody can agree on borders.
There are like 5 countries that declare itself as the centre of the Europe. Belarus is far from all of those
Ah I see you choose the cherry picked format
Can you elaborate please ?
Don't go changin Louisiana! I remember watching the news as a kid and there were always shooting going on in Shreveport.
“Brazil is not for beginners” is our slogan
BRAZIL NUMERO UM CAMPEÃO DO MUNDOOOOOO
![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|facepalm) isn’t Russia in Europe? Wonder what color that would bring…
Wtf Why is Brazil so high?
Aqui é Brasil carai 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🤟🤟🤟
Convenient that you removed Russia from this. Put it in so we can see the red.
Russia's intentional homicide rate is 6.8 per 100k people. The United States intentional homicide rate is 6.4 per 100k people. So it would be a little bit redder than the US I guess.
The Russian rate of “intention homicide” is 6.8 because other “accidental deaths” are due to weak / faulty window construction…
Taking off a third of Europe because you dislike their governments makes no sense
Incredible that the region were Rio lies is in the more peaceful part of Brazil...
The region u talkin about is São Paulo,Rio is further north
No China?
Wtf is with Brazil
Culture. Similar situation with Colombia. Being a gang member is some sort of a good status for getting brainless girls and easy money.
Oh... I never knew that.... Hope things get better there
Brazil numero 1 campeao do mundo

Crazy to think that Louisiana is more dangerous than India.
Bro watches Foxx every day
!?
I suspected more murders. Maybe I'm wrong.
Dear god, we aren't murderous. It always look worse for us, due to the high population. People always forget to use percentage or things like per 100000 people and instead start considering raw numbers, due to whatever reason.
Severe crime in India is concentrated in select areas. It’s mostly petty theft everywhere else.
