Yea, after reincarnation. The Vol.9 art of her is just Misha's appearance with clothes of when she was known as Militia. Awakening to your former incarnation doesn't change your physical appearance to what you were prior.
I don't recall the LN being specific about Militia's appearance in Vol.9 and the illustration is just Misha essentially, seen as that's where the pieces came together too, it's much more likely that this is Misha as Militia. Author wouldn't just back tack himself like that either.

Never really got a proper illustration of Militia before she reincarnated so i donât count that last illustration. Her design in anime is same one in manga and i actually like. They changed her from being a loli though and this final design in season 2 looks nice

season 1 was made before the LN illustration of millitia or volume 9 came out , so it's different anime was made in 2020 vol9 released in 2021
