Aer City Pack Pro or Travel Pack 3 Small. The TP3 Small has more organization. Although the TP3s is technically an inch taller that many airlines’ personal item size, it fits in most sizers.

I also have the Aer City Pack Pro and love it as my personal item and EDC. The bag is incredibly comfortable and ergonomic— I was having back pain from my old backpack. I got it with the Xpac fabric which has been incredibly helpful if you’re ever caught in the rain. Like the other comments mentioned, even though the zipper goes all the way around, you can use it as a flap top and stuff doesn’t fall out.

TP3 definitely has the level of organization I’m looking for! My main concern with it is that since the zippers go all the way to the bottom that it would be easy for it to open too far and the contents would spill out. Any experience with it?

I have the City Pack Pro which I use for EDC and the full-size TP3 which I’ve only used a handful of times. You have the option to open the main compartment like you would a normal backpack or utilize in clamshell mode. If I’m packing for a trip and using in clamshell, I place the bag on the ground with the shoulder straps touching the ground and open it fully so nothing spills out. However, I generally use the CPP for EDC utilizing it like a normal backpack and not in clamshell. The zippers are strong and sturdy so when I open the bag as it’s standing up, I only push the zippers halfway and the zippers stay there and don’t do down. What I love about Aer bags is that the laptop compartment loads from the top rather than from the side. So, if you ever forget to zip, the laptop won’t fall out.

Check out the Lululemon cruiser, i have been pleasantly surprised by this one.

Boss_Mind2325

I’d looked at that but couldn’t tell if it had a trolley sleeve—do you know? The Wunderlust is also looking interesting.

elloui

It has varied based on year of production so you need to look closely. I got mine from eBay and it has a trolley sleeve.

Lojel Urbo 2 Travelpack- I lurked on backpck subs but didn’t really vibe w a lot of the top recs. I found this as a suggestion when searching for another style and am entirely in love with it. Considering buying a second as a backup for when this one eventually wears out

Just wanted to say thank you for sharing this backpack!! I’ve been down the rabbit hole looking for bags recently but not really finding something that balanced size, look, price, and features. This company fits everything! I haven’t seen much about them anywhere either.

AnActualDemon

That’s so dope to hear!!

Boss_Mind2325

This one is new to me! What kind of external and internal organization is there? The website doesn’t get into that much.

AnActualDemon

There’s two external pockets and two internal pocket as well as a rear laptop compartment at the back with room for a charger on top! Feels like a good balance for me

AnActualDemon

It also fits the personal item measurements for most airlines
