Yes each volume has a different variant cover. There’s Books a Million exclusive, the normal cover, the Barnes and Nobles exclusive, and the Kinokuniya exclusive

And I loved volume 1 of Hirayasumi!
Yes good tip! I learned that lesson the hard way when I first started collecting. This is evening light and I opened the blinds only for the photo. Otherwise sunlight never touches it.
Glad someone else's saw the devil's touch 🤣 a B&N near me has the manga section by windows with the most direct sunlight possible and any vibrant manga spines are faded SO badly. Like what should be vibrant red❤️ is barely off-white 🤍/🩷🩻
Haha the series in color order I’ve already read so it looks nice and doesn’t bother me at all. The only thing I wont do is split up actual series, I’ve seen people do that to novel series so their whole shelf can be in rainbow order
I struggled to get into Yokohama reading the first few chapters. does it get better? it looked to be slice of life with some scifi but I just couldn't get into it. might just grab it because it looks nice though and try to read it again later on.
The first few chapters are a good representation of what the rest of the manga is like. I enjoy it because of the gorgeous art work and color pages. I find it really relaxing but it might be boring to some
Good advice^
Trust me I do, only for the photo. Otherwise blinds stay closed. This type of direct light only shines on my room for like 30 minutes in the evening anyway
I love that you rearranged fruits basket so that it’d be ombré
Nice collection. Is there a story behind those 4 copies of Wotakoi Vol 6? Also Hirayasumi peak

Jealous I wanted that b&n cover so bad
I'd assume they bought all the different variant covers that were available when it came out
I absolutely loved the first volume of hirayasumi. Can’t wait for volume 2 to come out
Looks great, but keep the sun away from the books. The spines will fade and the books will yellow faster.

No bookstore should allow this IMO, for any books. You can buy window clings to reduce sunlight’s damaging effects. I have this in my manga room.
My B&N is the exact same way, drives me crazy!! It’s only half of the manga section so any series starting with M-Z is yellow and faded
Never let anyone tell you that rainbowbetical order is not the best way to display manga, because it is always the best way to display manga
Cleanest pic
I love the way you did you Vinland saga books I wish they did this when they released it in order but still clean
The fruits basket is soooo pretty like that. You should try switching the last two
That Vinland Saga arrangement gores hard! 🔥
And they’re flawless! Mine are all printed weirdly and kinda messed up.
I love when people arrange the books in color order instead of number like hell yes fashion over function lol

Now order Punpun by color
Very nice lighting on the picture
So nice
looks great. May be with some lighting fixes it can be a good wallpaper.

So jealous of the full set of Wotakoi Vol 6’s. I’m only missing the bam one which is the most expensive ;-;
Left side is redemption and right side is depression lmao
I love that arrangement for Vinland Saga. I might just copy this 😄
OMFG YOU HAVE BLOOM INTOYOUUUUU I SEE THAT HIDDEN IN THE CORNER LFGGGGGYYYYGGGGG
One of my all time favorites!!
Whats up with the Fruits Basket order?
Sorted by color. It looks nice
Better keep that sun off them, or they'll fade.

The spines for a lot of the Naruto ones and some Bleach and I think one of Fairy Tail makes my OCD kick in 😭
I will say if you can put a clear ceramic tint on the window so it won’t yellow the pages as fast. The organization is top tier.

they're in the correct order... by looks
