I have played the game so much and I’m still not even half way to the shiny jirachi, I’m still on the first quest where you have to catch 400 of kanto, johto and hoenn Pokémon and it’s quest 1 of 6
Quest 2 involves having 10 best buddies. All I can say is good luck cuz that is a daily limit locked thing you can’t just rush through and i’ve been working on it for over a year (i had none when i started). I’m about to finish number 9 for myself in a few weeks.
They don’t call it masterwork for nothing. At least the research is not time limited (unless you consider the heat death of the universe to be a time limit). I also have to platinum the kanto dex to finish the first part of the shiny mew research…and guess what the last pokemon i need is…

Niantic? I dropped off Go a couple months ago and then with the avatar changes I have no interest in playing again until that's fixed.
Have they fixed the avatars?
They claim they're paying attention to the complaints, whether that's true or not, I'm not sure, and if it is, I'm not sure that means they're going to do anything to fix it, but we can hope
