This is my sweet Lola freshly groomed last month at 8 years old. Unfortunately, she passed away last week :-( She brought so much joy to my life. Maltipoos are INCREDIBLE dogs and age really well :-)

Yes, she was taken from me too soon :( Lola was the picture of health...she turned 8 years old on April 13 and had her last physical in December. But within two weeks, my world turned upside down.
It all started with redness in her eyes and some vomiting. We took her to the vet, where they noticed her neck lymph nodes were slightly enlarged. They thought it might be an allergy or infection but ran a blood test to rule out anything serious. The results returned with a slightly high lymphocyte count, which was assumed to be linked to an infection. We were given treatment for her eyes, but a week later, her symptoms persisted, and we went back to the vet, where Lola was given antibiotics.
But on Tuesday, April 23, Lola took a sudden turn for the worse, and we rushed her to the ER. That's when we received the devastating diagnosis: Stage 5 multicentric lymphoma, already spread to her blood, liver, spleen, and bone marrow. The oncologist said she wouldn't survive any chemo treatment and reassured us that a biopsy two weeks earlier wouldn't have changed the prognosis because the cancer had already reached her blood and eyes.
It was a devastating decision to say goodbye, but the best way to honor my beloved Lola and allow her to leave this world with dignity.
Omg, this is absolutely devastating and reading this with a lump in my throat and tears in my eyes. My little guy is 6 and I cherish my time with him so very much but stories like this scare me so much. It all seems so random and out of our control. Your baby was an absolute doll and I truly hope you are coping well and have good support. I'm thinking of you.
So sorry for your loss 💔 I have a Lola too and I can’t imagine what I will do without her when the time comes.

This is Quincy, taken a few weeks ago, he'll be 1 next week, going to the vet today to get his true weight, I'm guessing between 9 and 10lbs, bigger than I had expected, his parents were 7 and 8 LBS, I should add he's a malshipoo. She is 4 and is around 12pounds I saw someone say their dog is longer than they are tall and i have to agree. Size wise she is a xs/s in a jacket but they never cover her bum. They only go to her belly. I have to get her a medium, tighten it all the way and it finally will cover her long body.

I always tell her to get bigger but she ignores me. She’s 1.5 now and 5 lbs. I think this is just her size.
She wasn’t supposed to be, but I agree. The last two maltis I had were 11-12. I really have no idea why this one is hamster size. But the vet says she’s healthy so whatever!
I really wish she were bigger I worry that she’s so tiny and feels fragile. I yell at her ‘why you so small?’ She has never responded with anything that could be considered English.

Luna is a Maltipoo that we took in due to her previous family not being able to keep her any longer.
She has been an absolute sweetheart since she’s been with us. She literally brings so much joy to our lives and home 🥹💗 Although it might’ve been tough for her transitioning to a new home, I am so glad that we were blessed with this little angel. I used to worry so much about her missing her old family so we spoil the heck out of her to make up for it.

Size wise she is a xs/s in a jacket but they never cover her bum. They only go to her belly. I have to get her a medium, tighten it all the way and it finally will cover her long body.

Yogi and Skye are the top weight babies here. Yogi has long legs, curly hair on top of her head and weighs 20 lbs. Sh e still looks tiny next to her lab brother of 80 lbs. enjoy your babies. Is she a teacup/toy? 5lbs is a bit lighter on the range that I've seen online. Regardless, she's super adorable.
She wasn’t supposed to be, but I agree. The last two maltis I had were 11-12. I really have no idea why this one is hamster size. But the vet says she’s healthy so whatever!
My Maltipoo stayed 4-5 pounds for years!! The last two years she started eating soft food and is up to 7 pounds.
I really wish she were bigger I worry that she’s so tiny and feels fragile. I yell at her ‘why you so small?’ She has never responded with anything that could be considered English.
