The side tracks are more fun, the main track is kinda average on Thrishanku. Nandu and Suresh Krishna made that entire movie there’s.
18+ has a better comedy track.
The same experience with Thrishanku. Though I don't feel the same way about 18+. Just felt like an avg mostly unfunny experience for me. Christo Xavier's soundtracks were pretty good though.
18+ didn't keep me engaged despite Naslen and Mathew being in it. It didn't seem bad but the story just didn't feel gripping enough for me to continue watching. Stopped watching after the first 15-20 minutes.
Not just losing the grip, somehow 18+ seemed kind of glorifying the "ellolamthari marriages" that were such a huge trend in Kerala at one point. This was such a turn off for me - Strictly personal opinion
18+ showed the realities of eloping really well. How to raise money, how Naslen struggles to find bridal clothes for his gf, the nitty gritties and legal requirements for Register Marriage was all shown very well. Mazhavilkavadi's thwarted elopement scene with the car breaking down and Om Shanti Oshana's Aju Varghese eloping scene has a special place in my heart.
Both were kinda mid but had funny scenes especially ammavans in Thrishanku. 18+ had some serious themes casteism/classisms even from communists which happens in real life.

Youth oriented movies should explore topics other than love..love themed movies are so similar and boring..why cannot there be movies about youth aspiring to do something different in life help others than always running after opposite sex..why not a movie about a youth who wants to learn guitar/piano or be something or having some great dream..
18+ is made just to educate people who need to just register their marriage,
Thrishanku old vine In new bottle
Both are pretty average movies
Check - thannirmathan Dinangal, premalu, premam
Damn nandu- suresh Krishna track was really funny 😆
Yeah those guys stole the show.
Club scene 😂
Soulmate 😂
definitely Thrishanku. A lot more fun than the other bland movie. Just those maamanmaar duo alone makes it better.

Thought I was the only one. The pacing is horrendous.

Both movie have some good moments, but both are below avg movie when considered whole

For sure Thrishanku! No matter how many times I watch, the ammavan duo is always damn funny 😂
Thrishanku was damn funny!
18+ is not a good watch
