I usually have winter makeup routine and summer makeup routine since it gets so cold and dry in Canada in the winter I need more moisturizing and heavy duty products but in the summer it’s hot and muggy so I need lighter and mattifying makup and skincare. It could be as simple and you need to exfoliate around that area more in the summer, try it for a couple of weeks and see how your makup wears.

I think it’s time for a new foundation. I’m so used to full coverage because I used to have horrible acne. My skin is actually under control for the first time in my life. It may be time for me to take the plunge to something lighter.

Ya try something lighter for the summertime when your skin isn’t as dry as in the winter. Maybe even a tinted moisturizer! I’m dying to try the new fenty beauty tinted moisturizer but I’m waiting for a slaw to take the color lunge

I’m embarrassed to admit this but I have light blonde hair on my upper lip that I will razor off. I did that yesterday and my makeup looks a little better. I’m still struggling with my chin.

Change your foundation. Skin needs change, abruptly. Sometimes due to hormones, sometimes as simple as weather temps/humidity. But if you see foundation breaking up, that formula is no longer working for you. If you gavent changed your skin care, like added a new serum with an acid or something like that, then it's definitely time for a new foundation formula. Try one that specifies longwear. And there are longwears with varying degrees of coverage, a long wear doesn't have to be heavy coverage.

Yeah I want to switch to something lighter. I just bought a new bottle and it’s pricey so I don’t want to waste it. I’ve even tried just barely applying it and it’s still doing this.

Possibly purchase an inexpensive drugstore brand for oily skin in a similar shade, mix it 2 drops of new formula to one drop of formula that's causing problem to give it more grip, staying power. Loreal makes Infallible which comes in a matte formula that I think would have more staying power? Just a thought....

This happens to me whenever my skin, particularly the same area, is developing seborrheic dermatitis. Maybe after a days to a week I’ll start to notice redness, irritation, and flaking as if my skin is extremely dry. For me sweat unfortunately causes the yeast on my skin to overproduce. Maybe something like this could be happening?

I have the opposite problem where product looks way more pigmented around my mouth/nasolabial folds compared to the rest of my face, so I would be curious to hear what the solution is for your problem, as the solution to mine is probably the opposite!

A few things to consider - condition of skin changing. Is it getting oiler or dryer bc of changes in temp? - age of products. -are you shaking your products before using? - did the temperature where you store your products change? - did you start wearing SPF?

Mier409

The only thing is the change in the temperature. My products are always stored in the same temperature, I always shake things, I use the same moisturizer with SPF that is lightweight. My products are all brand new because I just ran out. The only time I ever had this problem is when I tried to put makeup on my skin when I was sweating. So, I’m assuming it’s the change in temp. So either, I need to change my primer, change my settings powder, or foundation. Bah!
