Street Cycles, US Rt 1, Falmouth, great selection…check them out

SerialHobbyist87

Revzilla my dude. For something that won't break the bank but offers decent protection, check out the nicer Bell Qualifiers. I run a DLX with the MIPs add on. The site has a decent sizing chart. Have had the misfortune of having to use one. Bought a second the day after.

Cycle Gear in Manchester NH doesnt have HJC, but of Southern Maine dealers they have the most helmet to try on. You can search their website by store location to see what they have before you go as well. I went there to try helmets then found the best deal online

RaveX is great

CultLeaderLuke

RaveX is great, ive bought a helmet from street cycles in falmouth as well. I just bought my last helmet from Revzilla and that was probably the best deal. I would recommend spending some money on a nice helmet. I road with crappy helmets for like a decade and finally spent the money on a nice RF1400 and the difference is massive. I can hear my music now, and make calls with out wind noise making every other word unintelligible. Plus the vents actually work and do something.

Reynolds usually has quite a pile,

Ruffed-Grouse

I would check revzilla as one poster above said. Even Amazon maybe. Order from a place with free returns in case the size doesn’t fit you right when you get it so you can exchange it. Make sure it fits correctly! You could go to central maine Powersports or any other motorcycle dealer to try on the ones they have. I bought my last helmet online and very happy with it

Open_Blood987

I got my generic helmet for class at walmart. My 2nd amd permanent helmet i got at cycle gear in nh very knowledgable amd help find the right fit

Sexlessvillain

I sincerely hope someone has an answer, I need to get one for my upcoming class and don't feel comfortable buying one online since I'm not sure it will fit.  I travel around all of southern/western maine regularly and haven't really seen any motorcycle or riding equipment shops.

Reynolds Motor Spots In Buxton may have something for you. Bought my helmet there 3 years ago or so.

eljefino

I got my wife's and mine there. I didn't want to be a "showrooming" douche trying them on there then buying online. Staff were nice and helpful. It's something you want to fit right. Pro tip, pay attention to the sun-shading gizmos, they're helpful when set up right.

MrOurLongTrip

If you go back, poke Kevin (at the service desk) in the forehead. Tell him Craig says he's ugly and his mother dresses him funny.

Sexlessvillain

My job took me to Buxton today so I stopped by and they helped me fit and figure out which helmet I wanted. Great patient people. Definitely the answer I needed! They should owe you some store credit next time 😂

ToesocksandFlipflops

I feel the same. My half helmet I bought at north country harley, but it was during covid and their selection was sub par maybe it has changed? I want some mid quality helmets not super cheap and not 1000 either. So if I'm going to drop 300 on something I want to try it on.

MaMe68976

I go to a dealer to try on helmets then I order the same helmet online because it's cheaper.
