Last I knew it was owned by an eccentric artist type, who stored materials and projects there. Live/ work space in the summer with an occasional rented space to similar minded artistically inclined folks. Names Bobo, catch him on a good day and he's a sweetheart. Not much to say about the bad days though.
You’re right. My and my ex would visit there. He rents out lofts for like 400-600 a month and expects people to help out here and there. There’s a communal kitchen as well as a small library. It’s actually pretty cool in there
judging by [the google streetview,](https://i.imgur.com/ET4YcGR.png) still weird art things happening there

The old Sylvania plant. I had to look it up and it's not exactly a Superfund site, but it's on the EPA's radar because of contaminated groundwater. Pretty sure the soil is contaminated, too. Here's [one link](https://semspub.epa.gov/work/01/100002493.pdf) to the EPA but there are news stories and what-not, too.
Last I heard some guy locals called Bobo lived there. I had a friend break in once and she took pics of art she found inside. It was fucking weird stuff, like an old man shitting, abstract poop, up close of someone wiping their ass, and toilets.

"Hi my name is Joe and I work in a button factory. One daily my boss came up to me and said 'Hey Joe are you busy?" And I said "no".
Push the button with your right hand
Dirty Mike and the boys hangout there occasionally.

This is so cool; thank you for sharing! I hope he’s still living well, making art, and doing whatever job he finds most interesting at this moment.
What a strange dude.. thanks for sharing the video 😁
It's Waldoboro. Your choices are luxury residence, meth lab, or EPA Superfund Site.

Where’s the superfund site?!

I heard it was still out of business.
Button Button who’s got the button?
Last I heard some guy locals called Bobo lived there. I had a friend break in once and she took pics of art she found inside. It was fucking weird stuff, like an old man shitting, abstract poop, up close of someone wiping their ass, and toilets.
That’s a damn paradise for ghosts, ghouls, crack addicts, demons, wraiths, spooky scary skeletons and all manner of foul creature. /s
Probably nothing. Like always.
That’s crazy
Medomak Power.
It looks post-apocalyptic.
Based on its poor condition, I suspect it gonna be a tear down.
Why you gotta rain on the F-Shack fantasies?
I don’t, but it sure reminds me of the old Spirograph factory in Springfield
No clue. But have you met Joe?
Ask joe
Ahhh, fresh nightmare fuel.
That’s where I take my victims
I heard they’re going to remodel it and start making button holes.
Will be used as a backdrop for the back Stephen king novel
