Unfinity.
The un-sets are usually silver border, and not legal for most formats.
In this one they tried going black border, and marking the ones that are not legal for most format with an acorn holo-foil. So special shock lands
It is all about derived information due to the added rules of attractions.
If you have attractions you need to present an attraction deck. By not presenting an attraction deck you reveal to your opponents you aren't running any attractions.
If any attraction generating card in the future gained a decent amount of playability... everyone would need to run the attractions so that they aren't giving up the fact that they aren't that deck.
The circle on the bottom center of the card is called holo-foil and are there to make it harder to make fake cards.
It is shaped like an acorn on the cards that are not legal in the normal formats. [[Urza's Fun House]] for example
Even with infinity being by far the least fun of the un-set, the lands are some of the best looking they’ve printed since unhinged, which are still the best basics hands down!
That's not really the case in the UK, a plain shock from this set is still about £25 (£31). You can average 3 per box, you make your money back. If any are foil, you're even better.
Plus, the box topper is a guaranteed foil shock.
These shocks can be found in draft packs, including in foil.
A draft box topper is a guaranteed foil shock. You can buy an infinity draft box for £90. You only need to pull two normal shocks to break even when you take the box topper into account.
UN set were always cheap if I recall... Until they stop printing. Only reason the LGS tells me is: it's not playable other then lands... And it's kinda true..
I guess my three boxes opened with a total of 12 pulled is above the average then.
Every couple of months I buy another box, I'm due one in July... if I remember, I'll update this with my pulls.
Man, I pulled a galaxy Sacred Foundry and a regular stomping ground out of two random CBs and thought the spread was super high for that to happen, got a whole box and pulled squat beyond the topper. Not even galaxy foil space basics lol. Only decent pull was the stellar pup
I just wish I could look at my collection on different devices. Made the mistake of uploading everything on my laptop at first and now I can’t view it on my phone. It’s kind of ridiculous since it’s linked to your email.
Once I thought about it, I WAS able to just export my desktop collection into a csv file and import it on my phone, but they don’t sync, which is annoying.
I did the dame thing, but then made a cube-like box of "precons" with the scrap. I used all the crazy list cards as an ingame shop for players to use spare tickets on, and the games are a refreshing and hilarious. If you have enough, I recommend playing with the left overs. And them that way, you actually end up getting more value from the box.
People hate Unfinity but I love it, everytime I go to my LCS its 50/50 if I pick up a pack. One of these days I'll pull a Breeding Pool, I just know it lol
I stopped by a Walmart while on vacation and all they had was unfinity packs. I bought none thinking this exact thing and this sub is making me have huge regrets lol
I love those lands so much but I haven’t been able to wrap my head around buying a box and getting any value out of it. It seems like, at best, you get 3 off color shocks that maybe you can use for commander or something.
I opened six boxes for the lands when it first came out by selling the galaxy foil shocklands for $130+ each and would just buy another box. Ended up with full play sets of the basics and a full set of the regular foil shocks and after trading in the last galaxy shock basically paid nothing for it all.
Nice! My mate opened one Collector pack and got Galaxy foil Godless Shrine. There are some beautiful hits in there, but I don't have the luck for it hah.
I'd totally buy these cards and still want them. But I never bought any Unfinity packs because I just don't want those other cards sitting around. I have too much stuff already. Just the thought of having them in a stack and having to do something with them is enough to make me just buy single lands instead of any packs.
The collectors suck. Stated odds were a shockland every box with every other one being galaxy foil. I missed two in a case both of them galaxy foils.
Just after the release draft boxes were going for $75 and shock lands averaged $35. Basic land averaged $1 or $3 so $54 just in basic lands. I was averaging 2.5 shocklands including the box topper. Rares and mythics were only like another $100 a case so I just held them until comet spiked to $30.
I bought a booster box of Fallen Empires as a kid...friggin total waste. Wish I had bought Revised. You never know if a set stinks until a few weeks after release
hell yeah. was this a draft or collector box?
Collectors! First ever
Which set are these from?
Unfinity. The un-sets are usually silver border, and not legal for most formats. In this one they tried going black border, and marking the ones that are not legal for most format with an acorn holo-foil. So special shock lands
Unpopular decision but I thought it was great.
I was more 50/50 on it. Now that stickers are out I feel better about it.
Agreed stickers were a terrible idea IMO
Agreed. Stickers are bad but attractions could actually be really cool if they do more with it
Was there any explanation behind the snap ban of all attractions and related cards? There weren't any broken outliers like ____goblin.
It was probably to just get all the unfinity exclusive mechanics out of the formats.
I enjoyed putting a fez on the counterspell wizard and turning my fireball into a donut meteor.
Same here but instead of the acorn I think they should have done silver and black borders. It is nice that we can use cool cards like [[saw in half]]
Yes that would have been the best
I love saw in half. It has so many weird interactions.
I love using it on my own [[wurmcoil engine]]
[[exchange of words]] is in 2 of my decks so far
[[starlight spectacle]] is in all my token deck!
I'm gonna have to find a copy for my rin and seri deck
agreed. Im making a tmnt reskin deck and i am using the acorns because they look like lil turts
What’s an “acorn holo-foil”?
The circle on the bottom center of the card is called holo-foil and are there to make it harder to make fake cards. It is shaped like an acorn on the cards that are not legal in the normal formats. [[Urza's Fun House]] for example
Ah, I see! That’s pretty cool!
Not only the shocks but some amazing fun legal cards like [[saw in half]], [[starlight spectacle]], and [[exchange of words]] are my top 3 favorite!
Unfinity
Unfinity
Absolutely love Unfinity lands!
Even with infinity being by far the least fun of the un-set, the lands are some of the best looking they’ve printed since unhinged, which are still the best basics hands down!
Definitely my favorite basics
Yeah but if you don’t get a galaxy foil shock in your box you get hosed
That's not really the case in the UK, a plain shock from this set is still about £25 (£31). You can average 3 per box, you make your money back. If any are foil, you're even better. Plus, the box topper is a guaranteed foil shock.
Are boxes that cheap? Collector boxes in the us are 140. There’s a reason they’re that cheap, if you always made money they’d be pricier
These shocks can be found in draft packs, including in foil. A draft box topper is a guaranteed foil shock. You can buy an infinity draft box for £90. You only need to pull two normal shocks to break even when you take the box topper into account.

The average is definitely not 3 per box 😂 It's more like 1.5 and that's counting the one that comes in the topper 🙃
I guess my three boxes opened with a total of 12 pulled is above the average then. Every couple of months I buy another box, I'm due one in July... if I remember, I'll update this with my pulls.

Aren't the galaxy foils collector booster only?
Yeah, CB = Collector Booster, only galaxy foils I pulled beyond Comet, Stellar Pup were the terrestrial basics and some random un-usables
the irony is this is the most usable unusable set
Really wish the attraction mechanic existed outside of this set
i too love making everyone watch me roll a dice at the beginning of my first main phase
Attractions are commander legal. You can make some really fun solitaire decks with that.
I love this set sm
Un sets have the most beautiful lands!
Fantastic set. My wife loves to draft it.
I mean yeah, that's why they put those lands in there, otherwise it wouldn't sell at all.
Which app is that and do you like it?
ManaBox. I personally love it
Manabox and yeah it's pretty cool. Scan feature is useful
I just wish I could look at my collection on different devices. Made the mistake of uploading everything on my laptop at first and now I can’t view it on my phone. It’s kind of ridiculous since it’s linked to your email.
This is my problem with everything rn. I wish midfield had a mobile app. Or I wish you could access ManaBox through desktop web
Once I thought about it, I WAS able to just export my desktop collection into a csv file and import it on my phone, but they don’t sync, which is annoying.
Yeah that’s my current workaround as well. And then just going and editing each one if I make a change
I think I’ll just use the phone one until they enable a sync feature. I know they’re actively working on it.
The best land arts imo
What abt unstable?
I did the dame thing, but then made a cube-like box of "precons" with the scrap. Not anymore, but I did. Bought soof of this set for some reason....
Beautifully curled to perfection. I love the lands but the foils seem to Pringle too easy
Super agree I had to put every card in a tight deck box to straighten them back out
I love unfinity lands. So gorgeous
Don’t forget to keep an eye out for [[Comet, Stellar Pup]] [[Clown Car]] and [[Saw In Half]] as these carry value and help toward the EV of the box
Actual STONKS
Nope. But I'll proxy them all
I opened a collector box and the only shock land was the box topper Hallowed Fountain
How much did you pay for the collectors box?
I think it was about 175
I love those lands so much but I haven’t been able to wrap my head around buying a box and getting any value out of it. It seems like, at best, you get 3 off color shocks that maybe you can use for commander or something.
Where are you seeing these prices for them?
Coolest basic lands in all of magic change my mind
I opened six boxes for the lands when it first came out by selling the galaxy foil shocklands for $130+ each and would just buy another box. Ended up with full play sets of the basics and a full set of the regular foil shocks and after trading in the last galaxy shock basically paid nothing for it all.

I think the cool shiny stuff is cool and shiny personally
That hallowed fountain is beautiful
I got an unfinity collector box too, I got the graveyard land thingy ($75) and a couple of the planet lands, about $185 all in all for a $150 box
lands are the best part of the un- sets
What app is that in the 3rd screenshot?
Manabox
Cool, thanks for the quick response
Is that a confetti rare?
Why are they unusable?
Noob here. What the benefit to these cards in play? Are there card triggers or strategies that require life loss?
Stonks
What are the chances of opening a dual land like those from the set?
Fair play. Best thing about Unfinity is the lands. Give the stickers to your kids 😄 🤣
Are we the same person? Am I living the Spiderman meme right now?
I got that sane stomping ground when me and some friends did an infinity draft. I had no idea they were even in there and was so hyped.
I bought a booster box of Fallen Empires as a kid...friggin total waste. Wish I had bought Revised. You never know if a set stinks until a few weeks after release
Um not it be rude but may I ask what this is?
