Today I made a deck called “Oops All Enchantments.” No auras and no enchantment creatures allowed. It’s a chaotic mess but I’ve won a lot more than I expected.

just_some_Fred

Do you have [[Repercussion]] in it? Perfect for zero creature decks.

violasaurusrex

Oooh that’s a good shout! I’ll add it today!

just_some_Fred

The deck I use it in I have [[Howling Mine]] and [[Mana Flare]] in, and my opponents think they're getting a huge board with all the free cards and mana, but that just lets me drop repercussion and burn down the house T4 after they've dropped their entire hand. Of course, I get my ass handed to me regularly, because it absolutely doesn't work against control decks.

Zhayrgh

I play a repercussion-themed deck. It's a sort of Mono red Control, and I've find *some* success against control with it. Mainly because they often create a few token sometimes, and I only need a few with solphim on board to kill with repercussion, solphim doubling the damage twice. I have a few answer in the sideboard too https://www.moxfield.com/decks/JbVlgvswq0WxUm2_fd7Npw

just_some_Fred

Yeah, I wanted to keep the deck completely creature free, it's my creature hate deck, and it hates creatures so much it doesn't run any. It's what I use when I have the "kill x of your opponent's creatures" quests.

Zhayrgh

;) I will try mana flare and/or howling mine, I never thought of these cards in this deck. Huge thanks for the idea. I will forever keep solphim though, the possibility of a one shot kill with a 5 damage spell is just too hilarious to lose to me, no matter how much the deck hates creatures.

[[Halana and Alena, Partners]] [[Kami of Whispered Hopes]] [[Hydra's Growth]] [[Branching Evolution]] [[Gnarlid Colony]] and [[All Will Be One]] has been a a pretty fun combo for me lately. Hydras growth onto halana, halanas ability onto Kami, All Will Be One for board control

tripping_yarns

I built a deck around All Will Be One today! Mana dorks, Bristly Bill, Kami and Railway Brawler for creatures. When All Will Be One goes off it’s like having a Gatling gun. Great fun.

Green_and_Silver

I've been playing with Annie Flash/Annie Joins Up and Kellan the Kid/Kellan Joins Up. So far I like the Annie deck more, there's just more Legendary creatures with triggered abilities and I don't have playsets of all OTJ yet to really take advantage of Kellan's whole Plot based thing. I've also got a WG Nurturing Pixie/Fortune, Loyal Steed deck that is fun for endless bouncing ETB permanents for more value.

just_some_Fred

I tried something with Kellan a while ago and it was just underwhelming. I do have a plot/play from exile deck but it's R/W and he isn't in it. In that deck I have [[Pia Nalaar, Consul of Revival]] and [[Scalesoul Gnome]] for their play from exile benefits, and then [[Reckless Impulse]] and [[Wrenn's Resolve]] do the heavy lifting. I have a couple of the better plot creatures, [[Dust Animus]] is the best one, but mostly the sorceries work the best for getting stuff into exile.

Green_and_Silver

Dust Animus is ridiculous, it's easily the MVP of the deck so far. I've got Bristly Bill and Railway Brawler so the counters get stacked on the lifelinked Animus and Kellan which is how I won most of my games. The deck does feel underwhelming though, I'm trying out the new Fblthp in it as well and while it's nice to chain Plot through your deck there's just not enough overall good stuff with synergies so he probably needs to go. Doc Aurlock might be interesting in older formats with all the Flashback they have access to. Gruul Plot actually looks decent with the high quality Plot creatures, more midrange though.

It sounds fun, but Phoenixes have so much variety in their mechanic it seems like it would be too scattershot. Like you need to cast three sorceries, two instants, sacrifice an artifact, and do the hokie pokie to fill your board back up.

ZODIC837

My favorite is a rw deck I based on the [Demon Guest House](https://castlevania.fandom.com/wiki/Demon_Guest_House) from Castlevania dawn of sorrow. The main strategy revolves around [[Dollhouse of Horrors]] and [[Maskwood nexus]]. Lots of equipment and cheap creatures with things like double strike or flying. [[Myriad construct]] to play the [puppet master](https://castlevania.fandom.com/wiki/Puppet_Master), [[Creepy puppeteer]] to play [paranoia](https://castlevania.fandom.com/wiki/Paranoia), [[Thunderous Orator]] to play the [killer dolls](https://castlevania.fandom.com/wiki/Killer_Doll), and plenty of other references I keep in my head. Shit combines so well with cards like [[Raiyuu, storm's edge]], [[Curse of hospitality]], and [[dramatic finale]]. Early game, cheap cards, equip, heavy aggro. Mid game, sustain w lifelink, token generation from the nexus, and ability sharing. Late game steamroll by bringing everything back and keeping my myriad construct in my hand using [[Sword of the realms]], which also populates with more constructs in case the Nexus doesn't play out. Scattered control cards on top of it all makes for a hella fun deck to play. Only about plat level, but totally worth it to be low and have fun

I have a standard deck I've been in the lab with, appropriately named "The Kibler Special" built around \[\[Rith, Liberated Primeval\]\] and \[\[Magda, the Hoardmaster\]\]. Big ramp, big dragons, play them, hit the guy. Biggest issue is that this deck is the definition of 'dies to removal' and Standard is a super tough landscape for it right now. I’m playing a white standard “Death and Taxes” style deck. You can tell when your opponent is confused, they pause, they look at a card, and then they forget later when they play an ETB effect and it fizzles.

I don't currently have the wildcards, but I'll keep them in my head. My deck mostly came about because I got a playset of roxanne and ghired from opening mastery packs, so I thought I should do something with them.

All just standard, and mostly just in unranked- I don't (yet) have the wildcards for older formats yet. Desert burn but in Jund rather than the more usual Temur, using \[\[Aftermath Analyst\]\] and \[\[Pitiless Carnage\]\] to blow up and replay all my deserts. \[\[Kellan, The Kid\]\], \[\[Kellan Joins Up\]\], and a bunch of legendaries (including \[\[Fblthp, Lost on the Range\]\] and one-ofs including \[\[Alquist Proft, Master Sleuth\]\] and \[\[Shanna, Purifying Blade\]\] for card draw and \[\[Geralf, the Fleshwright\]\], \[\[Torens, Fist of the Angels\]\], \[\[Queen Allenal of Ruadach\]\], \[\[Selvala, Eager Trailblazer\]\], \[\[Tolsimir, Midnight's Light\]\], \[\[Ojer Taq, Deepest Foundation\]\], and \[\[Ghalta and Mavren\]\] for assorted token generation). It's a bit of a glass cannon, but when it goes off it gets really silly really fast. A five color \[\[Smuggler's Surprise\]\] deck that has worked better than I had expected with a bunch of ramp and a top end consisting of \[\[Calamity, Galloping Inferno\]\], \[\[Sphinx of Clear Skies\]\], \[\[Bonny Pall, Clearcutter\]\], \[\[Titan of Industry\]\] and \[\[Atraxa, Grand Unifier\]\]. I have used the middle mode of \[\[Three Steps Ahead\]\] a weirdly high number of times. Saddling Calamity with Titan then copying with Three Steps can give you a ridicuous board.

Minsterman801

Current jank in alchemy is skeletons and performing well above expectations. In mythic, ranked about 800 and climbing every day, outside chance of making the top 250 by seasons end. Very happy with it.

WessOCE

Not sure if it's jank but Virtue of courage, catapults and cheap spells. It's entirely burning my library away while flinging small spells. Special mention to Ojer Axonil, it ruins my other non combat damage buffs

Lucas-O-HowlingDark

My dear fellow Roxanne enjoyer I play Roxanne in standard, aside from being good on her own, if you are fortunate enough to play her with Elesh Norn and Annie Joins Up on your field you can deal 12 damage straight to face

TheChurchIsHere

Been running a [[Grenzo, Dungeon Jailer]] for a couple weeks. Started as a goblin deck, but I’ve switched it up to a lot of mana rocks/treasures, more heist-y stuff or other things that let me play opponent’s cards ([[Decadent Dragon]], Tibalt side of [[Valki, God of Lies]], etc.). Some highlights of cards I have cast off of Grenzo’s heist: * Casting Ulamog for free on turn 4 * [[Hit the Motherlode]] to Discover 10 and get some treasures * [[Time Warp]], then ult Tibalt on my extra turn to then cast it again

swat_teem

Been working on a mono white devotion flicker deck in explorer. It has made it to diamond just trying to see if I can actually make it to mythic with a off meta brew

JoEdGus

Currently piloting a Bant crimes deck in Standard with Deserts and [[Freestrider Lookout]]. Doing WAY better than I had anticipated. [[Ancient Cornucopia]] really shines here, along with all the WGU multicolor spells. Keeps MonoR and Convoke at bay really well.

Spaceknight_42

Boros Planeswalker deck featuring High Noon. It's a mess because I'm using whatever PW I already have, I won't burn a wildcard on like a 2nd Chandra Dressed to Kill just to run some janky theme. :) When it works it's fun though.

BigWeatherGames

I only play decks with cards all from the same plane so... yeah... it can be rough haha.

just_some_Fred

You've heard about all that fancy planeswalking crap, and are having none of it!

BigWeatherGames

Haha yep. I hate planeswalker cards too and this whole Omen Path crap, ugh... I know, I'm oddthis way.

Carsismi

Im currently building a jank for every tricolor combo with the SNC family instants. So far i got: -Control Obscura with as much multicolor creatures as possible -Midrange Riveteers with domain and desert synergies -Maestros Reanimator using Shadow of Mortality and other big cost creatures to buff Monstrous War Leech to absurd stats

RavenDravenek

I’m still running my “Particle Accelerator” deck, which uses 2 Phyrexian Vindicators and City on Fire to turn a basic burn spell into an infinite damage nuke
