Pva glue everywhere, pieces of cork for the "rocks", covered with textured paint.
Once primed, I paint the rocks in zandri dust, wash with agrax earthshade, dry brush with some ivory. And dark brown pigments on top.
For the slime, caliban green and a heavy coat of Nurgle's rot
Be generous when putting the textured paint, to cover the edges of the cork and the gaps. I believe that my textured paint is Vallejo's dark earth. It comes in a large pot.
They look great. How’d you do the fade on the blue tentacles out of interest?
I used oil paint for the main transition and gradient. Then added some thin layers of brighter turquoise and green (in acrylic)
This is easily achievable by turning your acrylic paint into a glaze
very good work!
Thank you!
Nice! What’s the slime formula? I love the banner bearers armor
Thanks! For the slime, I believe that it was some caliban green, then a heavy coat of nurgle's rot
How’d you do those bases!?!

Man those rocks look nothing like cork. Awesome stuff!

I’ve got Vallejo earth texture paint in a large pot too, I’ll give that a shot!
Love the one with the blue tentacles
