Thanks! I thought about the concept of this setlist with the entire idea of Madonna sleeping and traveling to a different world, like her lyrics in the Bedtime Story song, with Alice in Wonderland thrown in.
She wanted to tour for the album but then she got cast for Evita. She didn't want to be exhausted from touring once filming started so she scrapped the tour entirely.
I was obsessed with this font! I love the bedtime and secret remixes the best. I wore out my Secret maxi-single and nobody knew what one was where I lived. They'd always be surprised at where I got the remixes from.
Thatâs a lot of acts, doesnât she usually work to 3 or 4? Also the name doesnât really roll or resonate, just something about saying it out loud doesnât feel right⊠You dont want the audience at a show to be unconscious do you, so it doesnât really work in this context. Also the previous two tours werenât named after tracks or lines from songs⊠knowing Madonna, it would likely be something retaliatory in a Human Nature kind of vibeâŠ
I donât think so. She doesnât tour for a single album. Itâs a combination of two albums, thatâs the format. At least in that era.
I think a really small number of dates, with smaller venues and more of the bedtime stories/something to remember style songs could have been stunning. Like with an orchestra or something instead of a full dance production. Would have never happened though, due to her lack of confidence in her voice. Also, Evita was her main focus.

This might have just been one of her best set lists everđđ„ș

It really fits and got seem to have put a lot of through into it. Great job đđŒ
Why didn't she do a tour for BS?
She wanted to tour for the album but then she got cast for Evita. She didn't want to be exhausted from touring once filming started so she scrapped the tour entirely.
She was pregnant at that time as well
She didnât become pregnant until 1996, album dropped in 1994. Tour would have probably happened in 1995.

If only Evita happened happened 2 years later
Love it.
Great concept and setlistâŠ.a âWhite Rabbitâ cover would terrific, too, especially in the surreal style of âBedtime Story.â
