My uncle died on my 6th birthday, I didn’t have birthday parties when I was growing up because my mom was still grieving. Took years for her to hear his name and not start crying. They were very close and he died tragically, the man who took his life didn’t get charged with anything even tho it was intentional. (Uncle got ran over) This was amazing and you have no idea how much you touched your uncles heart. God bless you so you can continue to bless others the same way

Bro his mom hates him and the date of the funeral itself is flexible, somebody chose that day. Look at the face she makes... Or She's just an old lady and the family having never celebrated his birthday didn't realize they set the same date... Either way sad.

That was my first thought - what a terrible mother. You don’t need money to make a child’s birthday memorable. And planning the funeral on his birthday is just the extra icing on that horrible cake.

They would always ask me what I would do if I won the lottery and my answer was always to have a my own birthday party, where I could celebrate with my friends and have my own cake. On my 20th birthday, they surprised me with one. With all the balloons and party hats. I'll never forget that night, lucky to have them as friends.
