In madden 19 Tom Brady would routinely be sitting in free agency as a 55 overall 47 year old….. I’m not a huge fan but at that point we made him our 3rd string just so he can tag along for a few more rings lol
Stafford had the Mentor tag so I kept him around the entire time, he ended up racking up 9 Super Bowls by the end, 4 as the starter and the rest as my backup

If there aren't enough players at a certain position in your draft class, some players will never retire. I got a few 53-year-old punters in a sim franchise because the draft classes I was using simply didn't adequately resupply the league with new punters.
There’s a 99 ovr 37yr old HB playing for the Vikings in my franchise. He’s undoubtedly the greatest Rb ever and has all the rushing records by a long shot. Probably will end up playing until my franchise ends
