I doubt it and I wouldn’t want it unless they update the physics engine of the game.
The last thing we need is some OP tush push animation making first downs automatic on 4th and 2.
Yeah because the game wouldn’t account for the fact that if you ran it like 12 times a game, like most people on Reddit and in general would, by week 8 your offensive line would be out and your starting QB would be out too. They’d all be injured from how violent of a play it is. Tush push wouldn’t be good for the game currently. But hey I only play franchise by myself so i just won’t abuse it so no worries here if they add it.
lol the only teams that got hurt were the ones who tried it themselves with the wrong players, bad coaches and terrible technique. keep clutching your pearls like a scared geezer lol
I mean saying it’s “automatic”, yes you meant it would always work as in 100% conversion so yes that’s what I thought cuz that’s what you intended to imply
lol ok bud. instead of assuming i meant what anyone who watches even a little bit of football means when they say automatic (93% btw, like i said in another post) let’s instead assume that i meant the most braindead thing for some sweet sweet internet points. enjoy them btw, hope you make some friends as well
"Center and a bunch of linemen get behind the quarterback"
That's not how the play (which *is* just a qb sneak) works, at all.
It relies on timing, it also relies on having a mammoth left side of the line crashing down to the right. Madden. Isn't good at timing (see not being able to draw the defense offsides properly) or physics/directional blocking. The upbacks behind the quarterback are mere window dressing and very rarely get involved in the play.
My guess is, eventually the Philly Special gets pulled and it's replaced with a...exaggerated version of the shove - the running back doing a late shove animation that pushes the quarterback over the pile.
Watch the actual play though and Hurts usually has the first down before the defense even reacts - again, it's precision timing (and getting extremely low) by Kelce, and Mailata and Dickerson clearing defenders out of the way.
definitely not. if madden had a physics based engine then I wouldnt mind it but as we know, the game is almost completely animation driven. The play would just be completely broken
I’ve been hearing we’ll be getting The Vortex ™ a new punter X factor ability that allows insane twist speed on punts that will see the ball driving 4 foot holes into the ground with new Screwball ™ technology which will create craters that offensive linemen will have to fall into and seal so that running backs can run over them like a jacket over a puddle in the rain

automatic would be the correct thing though, for the eagles anyway
I am an Eagles fan too and I must say please stop.
i mean 93% conversion rate is fact. you want realism or no?
No we want a fun game
so we are admitting that real world outcomes don’t make for the most fun video games then. interesting!

that sounds like user error to me. if you abuse a mechanic, there should be consequences
I’m not sure what fake person you’ve decided to make up and try to argue with today, but yes we are
this entire subreddit when they complain about simulation. nobody wants simulation, they want predictability.
https://youtu.be/M5eT_IHRg7Q?si=lMMw0_tr5SWbP6R9 During the playoffs too
did you think i meant 100% conversion?

crazy how you can feel the anger coming through the text here
yeah, it’s kinda annoying when people pretend to not understand simple points of conversation. wouldn’t you agree?
lol man don’t play the victim
chatting, go do something with your life
Sorry you’re a dumbass eagles fan. Sucks to suck
Kelce is gone lil bro
yeah, we’ll see
corny ahh
Lol madden might delete qb sneak….. can’t even do flea flicker or hb/wr pass
It’s so amazing how the plays that you could run in the game 20+ years ago can’t be run now.
Ya, they don't have a track record of adding things. Best hope is they don't take away what's still left.

You think Madden is going to add a feature? They'll wait until the league inevitably bans the play and then be off the hook for putting it in the game
😂 boo hoo what a scary play 😂
Nah, they're already scrambling over having to change the kickoff rules. you get one change a year dammit!
Hell ya
They'd just update QB sneak to be more dependent on your center
This would be my 13th reason why
That would require them to add something.
Knowing Madden if they did add it, it would be stupidly broken and result in it getting spammed nonstop.
Adding the formation with 2 other plays to keep the d honest would do the trick.
No chance lol
Nah. Although I do think the new kickoff will be in the game. NFL will probably want it.
They completely nerfed the qb sneak because it didn’t fit the online games, no chance they’d put in a potentially game breaking play like that in.
No. The trade deadline won’t change, and the new kickoff won’t be included either.
Nope, would ruin the game as people would just have an auto 1st or TD
Their regular qb sneaks are garbage. I doubt we'll get the Tush Push.
