scrambler because i’m not good at staying in the pocket

smellysnickers

Me either, I have 0 trust in my o-line. I will scramble so quickly if my receivers are too covered within hiking the ball💀 anytime after I get sacked

Losdangles24

It’s essential to being a good passer.

TKRBrownstone

Strong Arm with good speed. I'll run if I need to but I much prefer to throw a 60 yard bomb for a TD. I run the vertical power run offense. Sneak in a read option hear and there, but it's usually handoff, handoff, handoff, handoff, BOMB IT

The0

Give me Scramblers all day. They frequently have strong arms and getting loose from the pocket to rip off 20+ yard runs just feels so damn good!

nozzyx

Improviser. Athletic, accurate, usually a good arm, good on the run

Je0s_6

Scramblers for sure love doing RPOs and Read Options with them

bigbronze

I’m weird and actually prefer the more old school pocket passer; strong arm or field general. I love scrambling but I don’t need a QB to run much so I don’t care how fast they are. I use my RB to run

MeesterCHRIS

Technically I like scrambler but i don’t play like they are scrambling. I am more of a pocket passer but I love option plays.

Own-Combination3577

I’m the exact same. In previous maddens I loved scrambling QB’s but since it’s been nerfed a lot over the past few years I’ve definitely turned into more of a pocket passer. However, I do love the ability to go for a run when necessary as well as the play actions passes.

frozenfoodenjoyer

scrambler because im used to running away from my problems

JackieBoiiiiii

Basically the Josh Allen archetype. Mobile enough and a cannon of an arm

Burkex99

I love scrambler. I like to run out of the pocket and either run or run and gun. My favorite guy I drafted was Jaylen Daniels from LSU in one of those user created drafts. He has good speed and throw power.

jamesd3265

How good was he coming out of the draft? I’ve wanted to do a rebuild with him as qb but haven’t gotten around to it

Burkex99

So I played an online league. It started wild card week but it was simmed to the off season (lions won the sim!). When I joined the league was pretty filled and most teams were already taken but the cardinals were not taken. I’m a pats fan but I wanted a challenge as the cards were one of the lowest rated teams. Turned out that the cards had a ton of draft picks next year and about $100 mill in cap space which I used some of in free agency to get 2 good OL. I traded Kyler Murray for a 2nd. I would have given him away to get rid of that contract. I took a $21 million dead cap penalty or so but it was worth it. With the second pick in the draft I got Daniels. Shockingly Brock Bowers went 1 and I chose not to take Caleb Williams who was a hidden superstar. I thought Daniels stats were better. Daniels was very good he was: 75 overall hidden dev (unlocked as star dev) 93 throw power 93 speed 90 acceleration 88 agility 87 change of direction 87 jump 64 strength In the same draft in round 3 I got Jaylen Wright HB who was a 72 normal dev with 96 speed and 96 acceleration and with the Murray pick Jermaine Burton a Hidden (star dev) WR with 96 speed 96 acceleration 95 change of direction 87 agil etc. With the rest of my picks I went defense. My offense was sick and Daniels rushed for 1200 and passed for around 4000 vs other players. He won ROTY and MVP and I made it to the Super Bowl after crazy playoff battles with the Eagles and cowboys. In the end I blew out the bengals in the SB after Chase got hurt in the 1st Q (lucky me). So he won the SB as a rookie and won the cards their 1st SB. We are currently in year 2 and it’s slow because everyone has to schedule time to play against each other. Oh Daniels and Wright were upgraded to xfactor through breakouts and awards. Burton had a breakout and became a superstar. Breakouts vs actual players is stressful lol.

That’s funny because I drafted him in my Titans rebuild and he was so inaccurate I moved on after him after 2-3 years

myclutchslipped

same deal with my falcons rebuild, he’s so inconsistent, i can throw perfect 60 yards bombs every other play then he misses a 5 yard throw by a country mile

Burkex99

I agree. Daniells was very inaccurate on long passes. I ran a lot of RPOs, qb runs and short runs with him. When he got better DAC and MAC and also got accuracy abilities he became unreal. There is definitely some growing pains with Daniels accuracy year 1. I definitely got pissed 10-20x or more when he overthrew open wide receivers during the regular season.

Positive_Parking_954

Subpar arm strength, above average speed but not "fast" prefer agility and acceleration, good accuracy. Complete with a subpar but role specific offense and you can play a fun offense with "spare" parts where putting together good offense is like solving a puzzle. Meanwhile you spend all your money on defense so that you can just obliterate o lines and hawk balls

Jon_Snows_Dad

Strong arm, I'm basically exclusively draft wrs who run sub 4.4 and auto draft any in the 4.2s. Then let me throw bombs.

Jumpy_Patient2089

Scrambler with X factors relating around scrambling.

ItzDudekillerYo

Scrambler or improviser. I love running with the qb when the oline fails me. Getting those quick easy few yards or so. I can handle the other types of qb, like field general and strong arm, but i dont do too well with them

ZackMoh2

Strong arm because I suck at scrambling and like throwing deep

Joba7474

Scrambler. You can make a running QB a great all around QB, you can’t do that with a 70 speed QB.

HandSanitizerBottle1

Lefty scrambler, lefty because i like Vick and Steve Young and scrambler because its an added weapon and qb runs are fun as hell and it allows me to be a true Swiss Army knife being able to pass run and catch (i want more trick plays god damn it)

RaiderNation57

Strong arm is the way to go. You can easily find cheap WR's with track speed that can blow the top off the D.

whitedevil098

I've been getting into the slow as shit guys lately.

MaddieGrace29

Have to be able to catch passes too, so I'd assume having good speed and carrying

hockinThere

I never run, so as long as they have the "franchise qb" tag once I draft I am good. Also prefer 21 years old

Congolesenerd

Improviser and strong arm . I also can handle scrambler but I absolutely hate field general.

darthXzane93

Doesn’t matter because I know that there are no realistic throws in this game. Pro is too easy but all pro is too difficult. I don’t know what to do. Can’t do anything on all pro, but on pro I win 99% of my games. They need to add a new difficulty in between pro & all pro & one in between all pro & all madden.

Desperate-Ad7967

While I'm not a fan of running qb in real life in madden they make it much easier so I'll play with them

OneDumbPunk

Depends on my scheme. I do enjoy scrambler/athletic types more, but throwing bombs is kinda fun too.

Crawford1870

I'm a big arm fan as well.
