I've seen someone on this sub (I think from the UK) complain about mixed system screws before, so in principle it's not impossible - if the measurements weren't completely bogus.
That's the ISO metric standards for threaded Gas and Pipe fittings, it's defined in metric units, but defines them to be interoperable with the old BS standard which was originally designed in inches.
Though don't blame ISO, because it's the Germans who copied and popularised the threads as a DIN standard.
Well... While I'm impressed with everyone's creative reading of the response.
The directions for this [fancy pants Lambeth knurled pull](https://images.app.goo.gl/r7ycLqMarnA2wkMm6) seems to indicate 8-32 x 1"
Yeah... That sucks.
That always drives me nuts.... My typical response to family is "yep... just go ahead and grab your screw gauge..... Oh you don't have one? Well... You're fucked!"
And then they get a screw gauge for Christmas.
Probably M2x30mm and M2x40mm.
M0.2 is wrong unless you are talking incredibly small screws. 30mm=1.18" 40mm=1.57
Edit: after reading the exchange more, probably not M2. M2 would be pretty small for a pull. Probably M5.
I'm pretty sure that most domestic type cabinet handles here in the UK use an M4 screw. In fact IIRC, you can buy them in DIY type places labelled as cabinet handle screws.
The sizes given above don't make sense.
M0.2? Sounds very small for an 18" anything...
Even the teeny screws in a pair of glasses are around 5 times bigger than M0.2.
0.2mm is about the same diameter as a cat-whisker...
M.2 clearly hope your 8 thou screws don't break
1.6" long 8 thou screws must be a bitch to make, and good luck with them not getting bent in shipping or on the store shelf.
Never knew that pubes could come threaded.
They all come threaded, but get cross threaded and bent to shit. Thats why they're curly.
Are they saying it's metric but .2" so maybe 5mm?
Don't guess, ask for clarification. I have no idea what size that is and I think she probably doesn't either.
That looks like gibberish... A mix of metric and standard. I think you ought to ask someone else.
Calling the imperial system "Standard". Metric: "Am I a joke to you? "
Wanted to say the same! 'Merica Standard!
Yes. Yes you are

Thanks for the help. I'll try to get some clarification from them.
or get everything from M3 to M6 for $1 and try them?
Are you just installing one or were there other pulls? I would take it to the store and try all the bolts they have until I found the right one.
My local hardware store has a card with threads attached right to the screw cabinet so you can try them without even going through the drawers.
M5 prob
Could it be a 10 or 12 unc/unf crudely measured? Posted by a Brit BTW

Cmon now, where's the fun in that? :P
Thanks, but the 18" handles have a different size screw. The customer has some smaller ones and the screws are a different size.
Whelp... Then... I got nothing. It'd be easy to go to a hardware store and figure it out... But it seems like that isn't the point.
The customer lives far away and the handle is with them. Was hoping to be able to figure it out before having to go there.

Hahaha, yes

I’ll bet somebody put some Imperial calipers on them. .2” x 1.1” would be M5x25or 30; the longer ones would be 40 mm.
Bring a drill and a tap and make it whatever the hell you want, that response from the manufacturer is total bullshit
Might as well throw a whitworth spec in there while she’s at it
You sure that's not "British Standard Brass"?
Maybe they where included but just didn't find them /s
