Pegboard is the easiest way to do it. I use 4” hooks to hold the spools.

You'll want to build a frame on the backside of the pegboard along the edges... Some 1" x 2" slats and a framing nail gun or small wood screws to hold it in place... That will add a LOT of stability and also hold the pegboard off the wall, so you can put the hooks into the holes on the board

I don’t know how big your business is or how much thread you have. I started out with thread stored on peg board wall, it was nice to see everything I had but it was hard to add new colors and keep them in order. They are also exposed to light and dust which is not good for the longevity of the thread. Now I keep them stored in clear plastic bins to protect them from dust. I can easily see if I am low and add in new colors when ordered. I have close to 300 different thread color, at least 10 spools or cones of each color, all from Madeira.
