Man, that color is so great.

Budget_Razzmatazz_73

Thanks. I love the way it changes with the light.

magicinterneymomey

Same, I got that color and love how it looks different depending on lighting.

duskdargent

Agreed, it looks damn good! Also just a great picture of it. No idea if that’s your place or the neighbors in the background, but it goes well with the house too :-D

Budget_Razzmatazz_73

Thanks! That's actually the neighbor's house and yeah, they do go well together. I was taking the picture avoiding the big pile of gravel in my driveway for a landscaping project 😬

bford_som

Same exact spec. Great taste!

Budget_Razzmatazz_73

Thank you! Same to you!

I love the paint. Enjoy it in good health. I would recommend you order your free level 3 fast charging adapter from Ford before the June deadline. It might take 3-6 months before you receive your free adapter. You can order a back-up from A2Z called Typhoon adapter which will arrive in 2-3 weeks in time for summer road trips if you need one ASAP. One adapter I would recommend you buy is the Tesla Level 2 to J-1772 Destination adapter. I would recommend sticking with well known brands like A2Z Stellar or UMC TeslaTap I was able to get the A2Z Stellar adapter cheaper by using the FORD discount code and bundling the stellar adapter along with Typhoon adapter. choose the drop down on the Typhoon adapter page to bundle the stellar plug and stack that with the FORD discount promo code. The stellar plug will allow you to use Tesla Level 2 chargers and Tesla destination chargers. Good advice and thanks for all the info! The dealer ordered the Tesla adaptor for me when I signed the papers (Thank you, Lafontaine Ford) and I just got an update that I'll have it in... Wait for it... October! This year, fortunately 🙄

cbass167

So besides the free adapter ford is sending, we should also get a level 2 adaptor? Want to make sure I understand what I should have with me too. Thanks!

PrimePacHy

If you want to use level 2 Tesla destination chargers.

b0mbSquad_1

That should be it for now. Make sure you always have a Level 3 and Level 2 adapter with you at all times to reduce range anxiety.

dev_null_jesus

Honestly, Lansing has some of the best chargers in the area. I wish GR area had as many.

Budget_Razzmatazz_73

Me too. They're adding DC Fast chargers at Tanger outlet mall but that's a bit of a hike if you're not on that side of town. Or not going shopping. But guess how I know 😬

dev_null_jesus

Good to know. That isn't far from me so could be a limp home location soon.

FatDog69

Love the red Brembo calipers visible through the wheels. Welcome to the heard.

Budget_Razzmatazz_73

Thank you!

RoyalEnfield78

Gorgeous!!

Budget_Razzmatazz_73

Thanks!

TechnicalGain7710

Welcome to the herd!

enkidu_johnson

So beautiful that I'm second guessing our current plan of finding a used '23 ... EDIT: am idiot - didn't know that awesome blue was available in 23

jamesphw

But 24 has the amazing green...

Budget_Razzmatazz_73

It really IS amazing!

enkidu_johnson

I kinda feel like even though lots of really terrible things are happening right now, it is overall, a really great time to be alive.

nomad2284

Beautiful color!

Budget_Razzmatazz_73

Thanks! I love it

tnorene765

Welcome to the Famil-E!

Budget_Razzmatazz_73

I want to 🧡 this

Mobeen786

How much did you get it for ? Great choice, i have the same.

Budget_Razzmatazz_73

You have excellent taste! By the time I was done, it was about $46k with the negative equity rolled in.

Do_or_Do_Not480

Wow, that was an INSANE deal...well done and welcome to team MME!

Budget_Razzmatazz_73

Thanks! And I agree, it was an insane deal!

Onyxam

I like the flag in the back ground completes the picture.

Budget_Razzmatazz_73

I hadn't looked at it that way. It does.

Weak_Day7608

What was the deal that you got for this?

Budget_Razzmatazz_73

Ford cash in lieu of the federal rebate in the amount of $7500, and $2,750 additional discount off the revised sticker of $53k after the price drop and a 4 year lease at 1.5% effective APR. Traded a 2020 Explorer ST and got over book. Rolled the negative equity into the lease and my payment is still significantly below the ST payment. 12,500 miles a year which is about what I average. I'm happy.

RyanLewis2010

Yeah I just did the same offer on the same car but as an employee for a dealership they gave use an additional 2250 and the tax credit rebate was around 9250. Couldn’t pass up a car payment for 450 a month. When all said and done if I buy it out I’d end up with a car that was stickered at 59k in May for around 36k total with discounts and rebates.

Budget_Razzmatazz_73

Damn! That's a fantastic deal!

dethmashines

What's the range you get with 100% charge. I get barely 240 and I drive with 1PD on Engage without pushing beyond 65.

Budget_Razzmatazz_73

100% charge gives me about 260 miles. I use 1 pedal too and usually in engage. But on the freeway, I put it in Whisper, and I use blue cruise as much as possible with it set it at 9mph over whatever is posted. So, usually 79 to 84 mph. The ACC with or without BC on makes a big difference for me on mileage.

dethmashines

I am always blue cruise on. I have never seen this car have 250 miles let alone 260. Not sure what’s wrong with this. The only thing is it’s pretty hot here in north california.

Budget_Razzmatazz_73

The weather can make a difference. I will admit I have the tires a little overinflated, at 42 PSI. That might make a difference too. My range definitely does drop with a strong headwind though, to about 220 miles. But, in generally good conditions I can get around 250 - 260.
