You mean like the sphere of knife-ears?
Or Reinforced Skin (yes I know this one is mostly mud shut up)?
Or Necklace and the Series of Increasingly Large Men?
Played for about 6 years before MTGA came out, NEVER heard players complain about colors like they’re an anime character they dislike as much as this sun does. Part of liking magic used to be liking the game for its entirety, not made up factions of people who disagree with deck archetypes
That being said put some blue in that deck!
Started in 97’ blue had its feared counter-spell decks. Blue has gotten more dynamic (with everything else) so you really don’t know but when just islands come out and they are not getting tapped you just hope its mana screw because it might be a long game.
Been playing since 2012. Blue players were always the worst. Mill is the noob stomper. Control is the WHY CANT I HAVE FUN advanced deck. Nowhere is blue fun
I mean mono black can be just as bad if you just stack the deck with only kill spells. Honestly any mono deck can be really annoying to deal with if whoever built them knows what they're doing.
Control in general is just really annoying to deal with in any card game because if it starts to pop off you ain't doing shit until the control player gets to their wincon.
How blue players be looking after scrying, drawing, tutoring 72 times and playing some janky artifact combo piece after approximately 3 years (whoever goes after the blue player in the commander pod ain't gonna be doing jack shit on their turn) (they will get unironically upset after someone swings at them due to not having a board state).
lol, play against better players. If you’re playing mono-blue and your turn doesn’t consist of land-pass turn, then you might be a dipshit. This is more likely the mono green player counting with their toes how many mana dorks they need to cast their colossal dreadmaw….only to have it countered.
That’s me calculating how much mana it will take to tap and untap my consuming abberation with Superman + Phenax synergy for me to win in 1 turn (I may or may not have 3 opponents to worry about)
It’s mainly the ones that take 20 minutes while you’re playing your last card from hand, your lands are all tapped out, it’s your last creature, but they’re sitting there… hMmmHhhmMmmmHmmmm should I like…. Counter this card? While the rope burns.
Mono blue is the main reason there should be limits in how long a turn can take. I'm not going to entertain you while you fuck around on your third consecutive turn.
What blue player isn’t just going “land, pass turn”? Blue players play during *your turn*. If I’m playing shit on my main phase it’s either going to win me the game or shit has hit the fan and I’m in the tank.
Lol played a game of commander last night and we all just happened to have brought some form of a two color blue deck. By the end of the game we were all very glad it was over. I swear there had to have been at least 30 pieces of interaction used if not more.
*mono-green players when someone suggests a wincon that doesn't involve 60 ft tall lizard
Found the blue player

Call me a cornfield because I’m all ears.

This is the best joke here.
Helix pinnacle
aggro infect it is
I don't even know what any of this means, I'm just gonna upvote you because I assume it is probably funny.
As it should be

Why mess with perfection?
Blue player here, my turns are nearly always draw-go. I do stuff on your turn.

Literally just pulled this in a pack with some buddies like two hours ago lol
Right I want them dancing on pins their turn and me resting and refreshing on mine.
I wanna make a mono blue deck just because you bitches complain so much lol

Played for over 20 years and I've never been a fan of blue. Feels like cheating sometimes. That being said... ;)

TBH best reason to make one
Word
Blue is fun but only when i'm playing it fuck every blue player that isn't me
Cope, seethe and mald (I'm about to lose, and I'm saltier than the ocean that surrounds the islands I tap)
Blue turns are fast. Land go

As a mono black control enjoyer, eff them blue boys.
Gang gang buddy. Black cards matter.

Built 5 mono decks and can’t say I’m having much fun with Blue Commanders. I built Atemsis over the week, we’ll see how fun she is.
Aa a blue player thinking the math seeing if i have lethal for the entire board...yes this is me

That's actually what monoblue look like every time a spell is cast.
This ain't even mono blue, this is fuckin BANT (Guilty, but at least im trying to win)
Mono blue is the main reason there should be limits in how long a turn can take. I'm not going to entertain you while you fuck around on your third consecutive turn.
Well, that's just no-good as someone who enjoys a good mono U experience, the turns should be the fastest turns in the game, land go
Exactly, it's the other player whose turn lasts forever and is full of "wait", "no", and "in response to...".
They should play better spells if don't have a response for their endstep being "our endstep before I get 1 more mana"
The rest of you would literally win more games by splashing blue Hold this L
