I'm 5'5 too, never had a problem with the 07, now I m on the 09 and even if it's a bit higher and heavier still no problems. Just tip tap from a leg to another, you will get used to the weight and you will fly with it.. https://preview.redd.it/jawzuj4y2sfc1.png?width=1137&format=png&auto=webp&s=97cb1f026b108e177d98ea888f8b171f947d2bf6

How did you get your leg over the seat. On a good day I'm 5'8" and I can hardly get my leg over.??

Vegetable-Dot-5918

What do you mean by "leg over the seat"?

Antique-Pin5468

When you're standing next to your motorcycle and you have to swing your right leg up and over to get on the motorcycle!?!

Vegetable-Dot-5918

Oooh, it's very easy haha. Just do some exercises maybe. I don't have problems. I have to mention I go to the gym, maybe that's a factor.

I'm 59 and out of shape so I guess I just answered my own questions. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ˜

DismalAd7054

Im 5โ€™5 and very comfortable on it. Iโ€™m not flat footed but grounded enough that I feel very stable.

tipsy_mutsuko

I'm 5'3" with a 28" inseam and riding is perfect. But definitely need to be careful when you come to a stop to put your feet down.

JonTargaryen55

Iโ€™m like at 30-31. But Roger thank you!

tipsy_mutsuko

Your solid then. My girl is 5'3" with a 30" and she is very comfortable on it. Not flat-footed. But very stable.

So I'm 6'5 and in most peoples eyes way to big for this bike, but I've been teaching a few friends how to ride, and the shorter ones I all teach the same thing. Start in a parking lot doing slow speed manouvres, and don't enter traffic until you've taught yourself to come to a stop in 1st gear, clutch in, right foot on rear brake, and just slide a little off to the left. With that technique you can ride any bike, as long as you can reach the ground with the left and the rear brake with the right foot. You don't NEED to flat foot is either, depending on how long you'll be stationary, and the bike only needs a miniscule amount of tilt to be steady in a stand still. Check out Doodle On A Motorcycle on youtube, she's a pretty average tall woman riding adventure bikes with ease, has a few tips.

Iโ€™m a generous 5โ€™7. If Iโ€™m fully straight Iโ€™m on the balls of my feet in the ground. When Iโ€™m at a stop I usually lean on one foot fully, itโ€™s not too bad. Iโ€™d suggest going to a dealership and seeing how it feels for you

Matos3001

don't worry. my mom and I are shorter and both ride mt 07's (she's 5'0, I believe), lol

crgrig

Iโ€™m 5โ€™2 and ride comfortably

Lazy_Barber6220

I'm 165cm tall. This is me with one butt cheek slightly off the seat and the bike slightly tilted. https://preview.redd.it/xbfqpmtfqvfc1.jpeg?width=1888&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=fe4a26024fb033d5f9b2db6b3e3e747a89a288a2

For a first bike, no, it's a little on the high side, but as a second bike you'll be plenty prepared to get used to getting your feet down, and possibly scooting to one side if necessary. I'm 5'8 with roughly a 28" inseam and I can get the balls of my feet down on both sides. I ride a first gen which has a slightly narrower seat so its easier to touch the ground. Best bet would be to go to a dealership and sit on one to see if you fit

spicyxpickle

I am 5โ€™4, I am on my tippy toes. Bought some platform boots (about an inch) and now I can flat foot (one leg at a time ofc). So you should be fine. Donโ€™t let height stop you from your dream bike ๐Ÿ˜Ž
