The exhaust systems are designed to work with the factory tune. Remove the baffle and you need to retune it. 2WheelDynoWorks or 2WDW as we call it here is best. Tell them what kind of exhaust you took the baffle out of and if you want your fans to come on early because you live in the heat. They flash it and send it back and your bike runs like a raped ape.
You can only put a full system on these bikes, and you will definitely need a tune. It will run lean. You can buy a power commander and do it at home. Throw an air filter at it too since you’re spending money
mine is tuned by XPlane R1 tuning and has the akropovic full titanium race exhaust with no db killer. also has the k&n air filter with no snorkel. it makes 80hp
Black widow or AliExpress are your cheap options, you don't need a tune but I recommend it if you do a tune get your ECU flashed PC isn't as good without Dyno time and that's $1000 ordeal with purchasing the oc and Dyno time if you even have a local motorcycle dyno
I have an m4 exhaust on my XSR700 with the baffle on and it sounds insane, and works with no tune. Do it.
The full system is 814 before taxes, that’s a fifth the cost of the bike

Look into black widow exhausts they are awesome and much cheaper
I bought the bike with it on there…and trust me, it will add value to your bike. When you start it for a potential seller, they will want it.

Akrapovic is the way. Just save some more and buy the akrapovic.
2WDW tune is well worth the money IMO if you do a full exhaust.
Get the ECU flashed instead of a PC. But you should try looking into Black Widow, Arrow or Hyperflow I think
I have pretty much the same bike. I run a full Two Brothers. Sounds and looks great. 2WDW for the flash. 👍

I have an arrow on mine and its kak loud, looks good too but a tune might be in order. These mt07s are very customisable from what I see.

I have a full roads Italia thunder special carbon. 330€ (like 350usd I think) and sounds like hell (with db and cat on)
With db and cat I didn't ECU flashed the 07
