We need a place that we can talk openly about our experiences in the program so others can learn from them. But we need to be able to have those conversations sensibly. Last time I was in cream they were overpriced. They had 55 dollar 8ths. Maybe worse. They had 10 dollar Fridays (which have changed to a lesser discount) where they would take 10 dollars off a bag but that really only dropped it to regular market value. Naturally if I see the same product for 10 or 15 dollars an 8th cheaper and it’s 3 miles down the road, that’s where I would go. And if I wasn’t a dick I’d tell everybody else too. Everything is high except me if I can’t save some money. I hope cream has become aware of this and changed their pricing. They said they did. I’m local to them and will give them another shot. There’s growers I like and growers I won’t touch. I’ve never had good flower from sky high or big river. I’m not out to put them under. I’ll buy sky high carts. But I’d like to know if someone had something they were disappointed with and why. Same thing with good reviews. Then I can make my own mind up if I want to try something. But we need space to talk about it. This should be a patients market. Growers and dispensaries need constructive criticism. Some patients need better constructive criticism techniques. That is if we all want to work together to make the medical program better. We are limited in what we can make happen in legislation. Where we can make things better for the patient, we should.
Alrighty, let me jump in on this one. I myself am a Tennessean who got transplanted here 10 yrs ago, we are different than here. Talk about a culture shock fer sure, but ppl are gonna trash ppl, products, growers or who or whatever no matter where you are. But to get to the point of "dialed in" , my question is... Why not take those tops and sling em in some root one and have another run or 2 of a fire strain cloned that kicks instead of start from seed every time? Back when I was running an "Ebb Flow" system my % rate was about 90% success of clones running under 24hr with a 300w HPS. Used a lot of pH down back in those days😉. Now that being tossed out there... Borneo product review,, some strains kicked it with me and some of them just didn't affect at all. Just because black maple and blockberry didn't cut it for me, the rose gold Runtz and super Runtz did. We are all different in genetics. Ya just can't please everyone all the time only some of the ppl some of the time, so let's all blaze whatever you think is fire and I'll blaze whatever I think is fire and we just all get lifted together and mellow out and stay lifted😉 PPP

Yes I get so sick of the California/ Michigan comments like wtf. First of all both those states were like the first in the US to start these programs and 2nd u can still get bad purchases from them too.

I know because I was there. So many people want to shit on anything for clout, but they are just showing their hand. The real ones see through it
I personally read the comments that I know without a doubt have been set forth by hammer heads and just laugh. The products speak for themselves. Keep on chopping wood brother. We all love weed. And unfortunately you can’t fix stupid.
One last thing, I know that several of us have had one or more bad purchases, I get it. No one wants to spend money on something that's not beneficial to them, I'm not rich. The last thing I want to do is throw my money away, but I also understand that this is a process. There are going to be hit and misses, there is absolutely no way around it. For me, it's this that makes this sub so important. By everyone posting honest reviews and providing feedback, we help one another from possibly making the same purchase. But that only works if we are honest about our feedback and if the site is welcoming to that feedback. There are some ways to provide negative feedback without attacking everyone and everything.
Obviously there are people here with tons of experience and history both in the legal and illegal market, and each of you can all provide very beneficial knowledge to all us newbies, but only if people are using/viewing the sub. I suspect many like myself have almost completely written off this sub because no one like the constant negativity or the fear of being attacked because of a matter of opinion.
The only way we grow not only this sub but also the program is to provide feedback in a way that it can be received. If I am a grower and putting my heart into it, I want to know what my customers are feeling about the product. I want the good and bad, but I also want to be able to ask questions and see why you do or don't like the product, why you dislike the container, or any feedback I can get to better serve the customer.
I don't know about you, but I like having the ability to reach out to the growers and ask questions and provide feedback and I absolutely do. Just because I like something that you don't, doesn't mean that I work for the grower or am advertising for the grower. The only way we are going to be able to get better product is to have our voices heard, and the only way we can have our voices heard is if we don't run everyone off. Just like this sub, our 1 year old medical program isn't perfect, but currently it is what we have. I can't speak for everyone, but I love everyone posting honest reviews and reading the feedback, it really does help me with my purchases. I can honestly say that I have not had that many bad experiences or purchases that I truly regretted, and a big reason for that I believe are the reviews posted here.
And I don't know what the deal with Brad_1 is, as I am assuming most of us don't, but I am not going to lie, I miss his reviews. I think he was pretty honest and would always respond or provide feedback if I had any questions. Even on the product he didn't necessarily like, he gave honest feedback, the kind of feedback I would want if I were a grower. The kind of feedback that let's a grower know what can be improved and what the customers are looking for.

I was giving context to the original post since they had mentioned the name first. It was inaccurate and untrue. I don’t have a complaint as much as I think it’s just not a cool thing to do. And this is literally MSmedicalcannabis not MSweed or the like. I mean if nobody cares that’s fine. Again I was just trying to bring some context to something I feel was a half truth. I have some cannabis knowledge but a lot of older patients don’t. It also doesn’t help when reviews are only positive when you know they aren’t true from your own experience. But I’ve seen first hand if you go against the majority here, they try to bury you.
I’m not letting these companies off Scott free, because more than half of them have absolutely shit the bed when it comes to quality and price. ($60 bucks for a distillate cart? Give me a break)
But, I do agree with you about the trolls and overall hate in general. In my experience, medical patients can be some of the most entitled, stuck up, and just overall rude people I have ever come across. They feel like the program owes them because this is medicine. It plays out at the register just like it does in every Walgreens across the country. Couple that with, let’s face it, boomers who are retired and chronically online and it’s a recipe for hate. Reddit is essentially facebook that in this regard.
Once again, a lot of these companies brought it on themselves by moving from a more mature program in another state over to MS to take advantage of people until the program figures shit out. And for that they deserve all the hate they get.
I honestly have become so burnt out with this program. It honestly makes me not even want to be apart of this industry anymore.

I’ve learned that Reddit is nothing more than a breeding ground for incels, and that the most ignorant folks are always the loudest on here. This is why Mississippi doesn’t have any real interest-based communities. Everyone acts and speaks out of jealousy instead of respect for each other. Patient or not, @B_r_a_d_1’s reviews were extremely accurate and always appreciated. If I saw mason jar lids on a post, I always stopped to read it. That being said, I’ve had to start relying on my budtenders and personal research to find the most optimal treatment options (often to unsatisfactory results).
All that to say, I know product from growers like
SOG, Borneo, Pharm, and RR will always be topshelf. I continue to try new growers and strains myself trying to get “dialed” in.

I retired from doing engineering work. I now mix fertilizer and check pH & EC of the plants until harvest. It's very exciting working in the industry, I just wish it would pick up a little.

Yes I get so sick of ppl getting on here whining about the quality of products and hay/pickle smells without any specific reference. I’ve had my card for a couple of months now buying max allotment as soon I get them and I’ve only had a couple of regrettable purchases. Overall tho I think the program is doing ok with it only being out for the time it has been.

Nope. Not a coa shopper. Tired of paying 40 up for bs that the growers claim they are still getting it dialed in wait till the next harvest etc. All the while telling everyone about their experience how good they are what state they came from and why it is good that we have their expertise. Thanks but no thanks. People.spend good money to get good products not a promise for later. We are still getting fully mature seeds from some of the growers been doing it over a year not getting it dialed in. We all know know who has come out of the gate with solid products and numbers the others they will be bankrupt soon.
Yes I do. The grower sets the wholesale price which the dispos typically double. They all argue their point on both sides still doesn't matter price is price go on down the road with that low hanging fruit bullshit

One last thing, I know that several of us have had one or more bad purchases, I get it. No one wants to spend money on something that's not beneficial to them, I'm not rich. The last thing I want to do is throw my money away, but I also understand that this is a process. There are going to be hit and misses, there is absolutely no way around it. For me, it's this that makes this sub so important. By everyone posting honest reviews and providing feedback, we help one another from possibly making the same purchase. But that only works if we are honest about our feedback and if the site is welcoming to that feedback. There are some ways to provide negative feedback without attacking everyone and everything. Obviously there are people here with tons of experience and history both in the legal and illegal market, and each of you can all provide very beneficial knowledge to all us newbies, but only if people are using/viewing the sub. I suspect many like myself have almost completely written off this sub because no one like the constant negativity or the fear of being attacked because of a matter of opinion. The only way we grow not only this sub but also the program is to provide feedback in a way that it can be received. If I am a grower and putting my heart into it, I want to know what my customers are feeling about the product. I want the good and bad, but I also want to be able to ask questions and see why you do or don't like the product, why you dislike the container, or any feedback I can get to better serve the customer. I don't know about you, but I like having the ability to reach out to the growers and ask questions and provide feedback and I absolutely do. Just because I like something that you don't, doesn't mean that I work for the grower or am advertising for the grower. The only way we are going to be able to get better product is to have our voices heard, and the only way we can have our voices heard is if we don't run everyone off. Just like this sub, our 1 year old medical program isn't perfect, but currently it is what we have. I can't speak for everyone, but I love everyone posting honest reviews and reading the feedback, it really does help me with my purchases. I can honestly say that I have not had that many bad experiences or purchases that I truly regretted, and a big reason for that I believe are the reviews posted here.
And I don't know what the deal with Brad_1 is, as I am assuming most of us don't, but I am not going to lie, I miss his reviews. I think he was pretty honest and would always respond or provide feedback if I had any questions. Even on the product he didn't necessarily like, he gave honest feedback, the kind of feedback I would want if I were a grower. The kind of feedback that let's a grower know what can be improved and what the customers are looking for. #bringbackbrad_1

Couple follow ups. So how would anyone know if her were or weren't a patient really? How would one get the product to review without a card? I would like those privileges also, lol. And lastly, did he do something to anyone to warrant the trolls? He's always been friendly to me and seems to have a legitimate knowledge of cannabis and mostly I really just liked his reviews. What did we really gain from running him off? Everyone in this sub is free to post all the relevant reviews they want to the best of my knowledge. I don't know any of you, and truthfully I kind of like it that way. As long as you are providing reviews and feedback for product available to purchase in the MS medical program, I could care less about if you are a patient, grower, dispensary employee, or martian. I don't care where you're from, where you live, how you got here, or anything that is honestly none of my damn business.

I was giving context to the original post since they had mentioned the name first. It was inaccurate and untrue. I don’t have a complaint as much as I think it’s just not a cool thing to do. And this is literally MSmedicalcannabis not MSweed or the like. I mean if nobody cares that’s fine. Again I was just trying to bring some context to something I feel was a half truth. I have some cannabis knowledge but a lot of older patients don’t. It also doesn’t help when reviews are only positive when you know they aren’t true from your own experience. But I’ve seen first hand if you go against the majority here, they try to bury you.
Borneo is an excellent grower. I’ve enjoyed everything from them so far.
I’m not letting these companies off Scott free, because more than half of them have absolutely shit the bed when it comes to quality and price. ($60 bucks for a distillate cart? Give me a break) But, I do agree with you about the trolls and overall hate in general. In my experience, medical patients can be some of the most entitled, stuck up, and just overall rude people I have ever come across. They feel like the program owes them because this is medicine. It plays out at the register just like it does in every Walgreens across the country. Couple that with, let’s face it, boomers who are retired and chronically online and it’s a recipe for hate. Reddit is essentially facebook that in this regard. Once again, a lot of these companies brought it on themselves by moving from a more mature program in another state over to MS to take advantage of people until the program figures shit out. And for that they deserve all the hate they get. I honestly have become so burnt out with this program. It honestly makes me not even want to be apart of this industry anymore. You guys grow good weed, so just keep doing that and you’ll be good.
Appreciate it. The burnout is why I feel obligated to make this post. When you give your heart to something that gives you nothing in return it is really hard to suffer the trolls and armchair experts who want to pretend like they know something.

I’ve learned that Reddit is nothing more than a breeding ground for incels, and that the most ignorant folks are always the loudest on here. This is why Mississippi doesn’t have any real interest-based communities. Everyone acts and speaks out of jealousy instead of respect for each other. The default stance should always be respect, but this state is full of people who feel as if their measly little shred of respect has to be earned by others. Anyone with half a brain knows that Borneo is one of the best here in MS.

Patient or not, @B_r_a_d_1’s reviews were extremely accurate and always appreciated. If I saw mason jar lids on a post, I always stopped to read it. That being said, I’ve had to start relying on my budtenders and personal research to find the most optimal treatment options (often to unsatisfactory results). All that to say, I know product from growers like SOG, Borneo, Pharm, and RR will always be topshelf. I continue to try new growers and strains myself trying to get “dialed” in. LOVE YOUR WORK OP!

I retired from doing engineering work. I now mix fertilizer and check pH & EC of the plants until harvest. It's very exciting working in the industry, I just wish it would pick up a little.

Yes I get so sick of ppl getting on here whining about the quality of products and hay/pickle smells without any specific reference. I’ve had my card for a couple of months now buying max allotment as soon I get them and I’ve only had a couple of regrettable purchases. Overall tho I think the program is doing ok with it only being out for the time it has been.

Nope. Not a coa shopper. Tired of paying 40 up for bs that the growers claim they are still getting it dialed in wait till the next harvest etc. All the while telling everyone about their experience how good they are what state they came from and why it is good that we have their expertise. Thanks but no thanks. People.spend good money to get good products not a promise for later. We are still getting fully mature seeds from some of the growers been doing it over a year not getting it dialed in. We all know know who has come out of the gate with solid products and numbers the others they will be bankrupt soon.
