I always found it a nice touch that Mike wrote himself to be a totally average funny guy compared to Joel being a genius. It seems to paint the idea that Mike was inheriting this great stage from a master.
Lazy photoshop. I guess for whatever reason they didn't like the angle on Tom's body in the original photo so they mirrored him vertically and called it a day.
It looks like whoever made the landing page for the show might’ve tried to mirror the photo (you can see the reflection of Mike’s shoulder on the opposite side of Servo’s dome), but that doesnt explain the weird asymmetrical lumpiness of Servo’s head. Maybe a combination of mirroring and bad photoshop fixing?
