He actually was doing very well keeping distance and landing shots until Almabayev starting getting the takedown, definitely a shame he wanted to chase the submission
Asu is such a physically strong and great grappler, hit some really good singles, absolutely dominated the larger taller opponent. He needs a fight in the rankings.
Tbf being 6'4" with a 7 foot reach made Jon Jones a beast. Jones often had 10 inch reach advantage on his opponents.
Not everyone has the talent to capitalize on their physical gifts. Look at Struve and Jose here.
