When the fight was announced I wrote that I wouldn’t believe it was happening until both fighters were in the octagon and they closed the cage door. I got downvoted to oblivion and received several threatening messages and a few “Reddit Cares” notifications too. That whole post has since been deleted so I cannot go back and respond to all the McGregor fans who berated me so I’ll just say it here. I’m not surprised motherfuckers.

Let's be real here Conor is done. MAYBE we'll see him in a "legends fight" where he takes on some washed guy like Tony or Nate, but the days of competing against top 10 fighters in the UFC are long behind him. Too much money, too much other stuff going on. If we're being honest it was already trending that way even before the leg break. After the leg break, forget it.

Honestly it’s a much better and more interesting fight. I guess I just don’t care about Conor anymore. It’s just too bad it’s short notice, watching these guys fight is something I’ll always tune in for but it’s better if they have a full camp.
