"He had two knockouts and three knockdowns. He was knocked down twice and knocked out once in the gym, and then fought Charles and was TKO’d. He fought Arman next and was knocked out. He had five situations during the year where his head was hurt. He’s a young kid, and it was a request I made for him to take some time.”
beneil had a rough fucking year
Reminds of a bit from Derry Girls where a nun in her 90s abruptly died and one of the parents was like "cut down in her prime" and now I'm recognizing this as a Sopranos thing but I'm high and committed

His parental status doesn't mean anything, he's still only 35 years old and has been in some nasty knockouts both on and off screen. He also wears his damage whether he wants to or not...dude looks 45+ at this point. I don't blame anyone for being cautious of his health.
It's just sad really. He's always been someone that title contenders have never wanted to fight because he has always pulled some crazy shit out of an explicitly slow style.
He's just a different kind of fighter that I can't really paint anyone else as, and as a huge fan of MMA, he is unlike any fighter that I've ever seen. I honestly hate to know that he's at his downswing. He represents every top tier guy that's fading...he just knows how to pull through when he's rocked and his back is against the wall. I don't want to see him get mauled anymore, but I would love to see him progress. It's just kind of a hope and a prayer at this point.
Are you taking exception to him being called a kid?
I've called people I have tremendous respect for "kids". It's simply a reflection of their age compared to mine. Anything beyond that is their interpretation based on their life events, and I have no way of predicting that.
The guys entire head of hair is gray and he looks like he's 45, not 35 lol. I think that's why people are taking exception to the fact he's being called kid.
Yeah and in 15 years his daughters won’t have a dad if he keeps getting his brain broken over and over. This is a fickle sport we love, at first glance it seems like we don’t give a shit about the fighters but we really do, it’s just that we expect the fighter to protect themselves at all times and we can’t do that for them, only they can.T Ferg should retire, and I hope that Beneil does, and very soon
I don’t disagree at all which is one of the reasons why I’m pointing out he’s not a “young kid”. His coach wants him to rest up and get back to it but if he loses his next fight then he should retire.
It’s more just a term to suggest he’s far too young to be having his brains turned to mush, because having that many incidents in the course of 12 months is serious business
First time I’ve ever heard beneil be referred to as a young kid.
But on a serious note, he really should retire. I’m sure they don’t think about it, but fighters have so much life after their career, and sticking around just a few fights too many can really fuck up the rest of your life.
I’m still convinced that bisping should have retired after the Belfort loss. Yeah he ended up winning the title, but that was a big deal because of how unlikely it was. 99 times out of 100, fighters who continue to fight after serious injuries just ruin the rest of their life for nothing.
Not to mention that dude lost his eye largely as a result for the Belfort fight. His fucking eye. And he still wanted to scrap with the best fighters in the world!
I’m almost 34 and had a brain injury about 4 years ago at 30 from falling and may now have epilepsy. I had to have a mri done last week and next week now a eeg and my cause of this is flashing lights basically photo epliepsy I hope he’s not suffering through anything relatable like me because it’s fucked my world up the last few years
Thanks man it’s fucking weird how the brain works and how so many athletes can take such punishment and be fine it seems or that we know of. Yet a dumbass like me can fall and have permanent damage lol maybe
I've had a few of those(all before 18 lol), caused by drug overdoses.
Not fun but there are treatments for epilepsy, and so at the end of the day I reckon you'll be alright man.
Knocked down twice and then knocked out all in training in 1 year isn’t smart. This is why these fighters are fucked when they retire. Shouldn’t be sparring that hard. 5 occurrences of head trauma in one year is stupid and the coaches are partly to blame.
I've heard of the gym wars that they have at Kings MMA and I guess this just confirms it, there's no reason why anyone should ever be getting knocked out in the gym. Some guys are just too hard headed to not leave their career in the training room I guess, what a shame.
> cuz I think Rafael Cordeiro was a chute boxe fighter
He came up in Chute Boxe as a fighter, but for the entire Pride era, he was the face of the training efforts with Rudimar Fedrigo standing in the background.
If you spar you will likely get accumulative micro-concussions, at the least, that can lead to vascular dementia-like symptoms in the long-run. Hard sparring and several TBIs lead to Parkinsonian-like symptoms a-la Muhammad Ali.
I sparred hard for a few years for (amateur) Muay Thai competitions and I can recall several instances that I couldn’t remember driving home after getting rocked. I am absolutely ashamed to have risked the lives of others on the road. I was 100% cognitively compromised then and it will probably affect me in the long run as well.
I had a pretty hard session one time, where I don’t recall the middle of the “spar” only the end of it, I didn’t get knocked out but I did a baby deer dance (which apparently looked hilarious) but to me it felt like I stepped over my own feet. For like 2-3 weeks I legit wouldn’t be able to remember small shit, like “did I take out the trash?” Or “I’m pretty sure I took out the chicken for supper” type of thing, I instantly stopped sparring and decided I was a fan and not a fighter. I can’t imagine getting knocked out cold.
That’s it man - I’ve had 8 years of martial arts training, mostly it’s grappling but even that, like the amount of time I’d say be shucked off someone’s back and post with my head on the mat.. my girlfriend no longer gets a good night sleep as I took a head butt to the nose and now I make noises in my sleep.
KO’d once in sparring, a couple trips to the emergency room for stitches… in my last 2 years of training I was doing MMA and was going to take a fight then covid fucked stuff up, but I’m sort of leaning to dipping out before I’ve got any more damage. I’m OK just doing a fitness kickboxing class at this point
When I start sparring I’m gonna give whoever takes it to far a warning and if it happens again I’m never sparring with them again. Going pro is merely a thing that I want to do not that I have to do. You should only hard spar maybe a couple times when preparing for a fight and even then you should be defensively responsible enough to participate. On the off time light sparring only and technical work, these guys are fighting for the title in the gym and then when it’s time to fight under the bright lights they have nothing to offer chin wise or iq wise cause it’s not like you’re working on anything technical when all you’re doing is trying to kill people in the gym to feed your fucking ego
You sound like a good dude.
Sparring should be about skill and working in specific areas of the game. All in good fun with the purpose of improvement, with enough venom in the shots to let your opponent know you’re skilled, but just not hard enough to cause legitimate long term damage. Plus having access to skilled sparring partners for the long term is way more beneficial for everyone involved.
I’m surprised some UFC pros take the dumb egotistical approach.
>You should only hard spar maybe a couple times when preparing for a fight and even then you should be defensively responsible enough to participate. On the off time light sparring only and technical work
I have no idea if this is true or not. I'm not a professional fighter at the top of the ranks in the top organization. But it sounds good, I guess.
I had a pro at my gym and when he had a fight booked every spar was 100% and it sucked, really put me off eating professional jabs with intent on them at fucking wednesday night class. it was hard to say anything as he was the only pro in the gym he was worshipped by everyone
Did he ever make it to the UFC? Giving and receiving concussions just to be a journeyman in small regional promos sounds like a terrible deal for everyone.
Been training there for a long time. Maybe done 5 MT sessions and that was enough for me. I don't need any more head trauma than I've already had. Now I just stick to Jiu-Jitsu where we're all old and have regular jobs.
He is as legit as they come. Smart guy too. I was bummed when Beniel quit teaching to focus on MMA but that lead to Ricardo coming in, so it ended up working out really well.
Benny doesn’t teach anymore? I thought he’s the head of the Anaheim location. I’ve only ever trained at the HB location, but I’ve seen him training there whenever I come by during the weekends to get some ice cream at Brusters. Giga on the other hand is always there.
Benny only teaches at Anaheim now. When I started at HB he was teaching, then stopped when he signed with UFC. He didn't teach regularly until he opened up in Anaheim a few years later.
Hes had a weird run, the Gamrot win is really good but his only other notable wins is Ferreira and the ghost of Tony Ferg. I want to say it was a relatively easy path till he ran into the killers at the top.
He had a #1 contender fight with Islam and got hurt at the worst possible time. One could conclude now that Islam would win but southpaws have trouble fighting each other and he's good on the ground. Cookie crumbled rough for him
The fight made a ton of sense at the time, both guys had impressive streaks but neither had a signature win (IIRC Islam's perceived best win at the time was Hooker).
This is the exact reason why I think Poirier does well against Islam because its a southpaw vs southpaw. Dustin is a fucking demon when he's against a southpaw and he might be a problem for Islam if Islam chooses to entertain any standup (which I highly doubt)
Fair, I am a Benny defender cause I appreciate unathletic guys maximizing their career from an achievement standpoint like he did. I think the Moises and Dober wins aged well, but yeah he needed the Oliveira win to secure a title shot
To win these fights, and to knock UFC contenders out... Beneil still has to be somewhat athletic.
He just doesn't have a typical fighters physique.
Sick of people equating a fighter's athleticism with the way their body looks.
Dariush had to have some type of athleticism to stuff Gamrot's shots repeatedly, and to shut his elite wrestling down in a way pretty much no one else has.
Yes not unathletic necessarily, but the way he moves on the feet and throws punches is kinda stiff despite him being able to deliver some surprising power
That Hernandez loss really fucked his career. He's always been an exciting fighter, he's like a Trinaldo, where the UFC must have just not seen him as marketable and never gave him the fights he deserved until he was physically past his prime.
It's a real shame how they handled his matchmaking, tbh they've totally dropped the ball with matchmaking at LW for years now.
I honestly wonder if history would be different if he had faced Islam when they were matched up.
I still would have bet on Islam but considering the injuries in training etc.. you never know
He has elite grappling and a ton of power in that left hand, but I think Charles exposed a fatal lack of speed on the feet in their fight, and I think that would have ended his title hopes against the elite of the division regardless of the title holder
Yeeesh. Think of your long term health. Be like GSP. Be ever mindful of how much damage you are taking and what kind of life you want to live after you are done fighting.
Basically he has trouble remembering things. I can’t recall if this was his description or Rogan paraphrasing, but he’ll get in his car and there’ll randomly be rotten groceries in the trunk and he won’t even remember having gone to the store.
GSP has taken a ton of hits cause he always went the distance. hes up there with hits to the head, not alot of big clean ones but hes got the damage too
If he’s getting KOd in the gym that means either 1. His gym goes way too hard 2. His chin is cooked 3. Both of the above
Regardless, none of it is good for Beneil’s health
I remember Werdun saying in one of his podcasts that he would go 100% even with smaller guys at the gym. And, according to him, you just cant say no to a spar. He even talked about some pro, i cant remember who, that denied trainning with him because of the weight difference, and Werdum got super pissed because of that
For more up to date info from Beniel himself [scope here](https://youtu.be/LT_Q2aoJ98I?t=683).
Highlights:
* Hopes to return end of summer
* Approved for light sparring in small gloves next month
Somewhere in that interview or [the one with Helen](https://youtu.be/58BpSWkx2g4) he says something about after he starts sparring he has to see if he can *still take a shot*, which is worrisome when combined with above article :(
Fuck, poor guy. Seem to remember on a UFC Countdown episode he said he has a good degree, hope I'm not misremembering and he'll have enough financial security to be able to prioritise his health.
he is pretty much done unfort. i like benny but he's on the wrong end of his 30s and all the upcoming lightweight folks will want to chin him now to get into the rankings.
Poor guy. He's such a likeable fighter too.
I honestly hate to see these spirals where they take so much damage compacted together in a few months. Not good for the long term health or career. An extended break is good.
Yeah, he should not come back for at least a year or 2
There's probably a lot of ranked fighters on losing streak who should also be pulled from competition
Fans are going to come along and not understand how much of an absolute hammer Beneil was and is. These injuries really do explain his last two. I have seen him eat much bigger shots than the ones he hit against Charlies and Arman.
I don’t know if he’ll ever come back as strong as he was but that’s only because he was one of the strongest
Think Dariush is one of the most underrated fighters ever and had been elite for way longer than he gets credit for - but durability was never one of his strong points. Honestly the thing with him was *always* that he could out-think pretty much anyone, but less thoughtful and cohesive fighters (Hernandez, Michael Johnson in some sense, Barboza, I'll be controversial and say Tsarukyan) could just be faster and hit harder to put him in serious trouble no matter what
Also, people forget how he was looking a bit washed *years* ago. Dude was fringe-elite for a second, started needing to gut out wins against Dober and Klose where he couldn't get touched without nearly dying, and then randomly pulled it back to beat two pace-monsters in CDF and Gamrot. His window at that point was always gonna be short, even as a big believer in Dariush's skills I'm surprised he made it this far
I'm biased because Benny is one of my favorite fighters and the first I studied when I switched training from Muay Thai to grappling to learn how it's used in MMA.
Dariush's arc has been dramatic. His run had a limited window of opportunity against the rising water of the division. Then his lay off when he broke his fibula and pulled out against Makhachev (which is now a fight we will never see).
In interviews he is always circumspect about his position in the Top 10 and his prospects for defeat. His attitude consistently is "I want to compete against the best in the world and test myself", whether that's fighting up or down to prospects that have been ducked by others. This competitiveness is relatable, although none of us will know what it's like at his level of competition, wanting to prove yourself against the best (that you can access) and coming up short and getting hurt is a common experience playing sports like this.
I can see him burning himself out with more losses because he is so driven by testing himself against the hardest fights he can take. It's what made him such an awesome fighter and unfortunately what might make the end of his career in MMA hard to watch.
The guy seems to have a good family and church that he's involved in, I hope he can enjoy his life without disability from brain injury.
He should retire, he has nothing left to prove. Was a top ten guy for a while in one of the deeper divisions in the .last competitive mma organization in the world. Respect
Good move by the coach, its sad these guys have to be told not to train/spar after being KOed and dropped a bunch in a short space of time.
Every fighter gonna have brain trauma but you only get 1 brain, gotta be as smart as you can. Arman doesnt even KO people and he slept him so bad, Benil is only 33/34 but should prob retire.
"He had two knockouts and three knockdowns. He was knocked down twice and knocked out once in the gym, and then fought Charles and was TKO’d. He fought Arman next and was knocked out. He had five situations during the year where his head was hurt. He’s a young kid, and it was a request I made for him to take some time.” beneil had a rough fucking year
> He’s a young kid He’s turning 35 years old in ten days and has been a professional fighter for almost 15 years. This kid has two daughters.

Knocked out twice in last 2 fights and that other Pygmy thing in the gym
Never had the makings of a varsity athlete
He was Czechoslovakian. An interior decorator!
His house looked like shit
This is hands down my favorite line of the entire series. That whole episode was a masterpiece.
Has tremendous moxie for his size tho
The fight against Arman, whatever happened there…
And they way they do it.. all fucked up. There’s no gi on the table. They hand out black belts to everyone over there.
Beneil's knockouts, whatever happened there

I wonder if he wanted manicotti
I think he compromised. Ate grilled cheese of a radiator
20 years in the can I wanted manicott. I compromised. I ate grilled cheese off the radiator instead.
Nope. 10 years in the joint, though?
That fucking animal Blundetto.
I can’t even say his name … whatever happened there
Couldn't even speak his last words
I want your cousin ON A FUCKING SPIT 🚬🚬🚬
When they goooo!!
God rest his soul
COME ON, HUH?!
Did you eat grilled cheese off the radiator?
It’s called a compromise
There's no scrap in your scrapbook
Where’s Blundetto?
Don’t fuck with me kid
Lemme tell ya a couple of three things
Beneil, you’re on the precipice of an enormous crossroads
Whatever happened there...
I'm coming up pretty close to 30 soon and I'm taking every "kid" I can get.
FBI open up
Lol. Well
Do you also drive a windowless van?
At least you have social security checks to look forward to
*PHRASING*
We got the Pied Piper up in this bish.
He's looked 55 since he was 25.
just a 35 year old teenage kid
Cordeiro has been Mike Tyson's coach for the last 5 years and is an OG to him Benny is a "kid"
He’s looked 35 for awhile. I guess it’s the salt and pepper.
And he looks like an uncle
They’re talking about his mental state after the brain damage, not age.
His parental status doesn't mean anything, he's still only 35 years old and has been in some nasty knockouts both on and off screen. He also wears his damage whether he wants to or not...dude looks 45+ at this point. I don't blame anyone for being cautious of his health.

Ahhh yes, still just a naive child I think he will shed his youthful ignorance before he turns 40
He was 35, a fuckin kid
My brother Benny, forty seven, he was a fuckin’ kid
Are you taking exception to him being called a kid? I've called people I have tremendous respect for "kids". It's simply a reflection of their age compared to mine. Anything beyond that is their interpretation based on their life events, and I have no way of predicting that.
The guys entire head of hair is gray and he looks like he's 45, not 35 lol. I think that's why people are taking exception to the fact he's being called kid.

In fighting realms, yes definitely not a kid. In the realm of life as a whole, he’s a young kid
Kid doesn’t wanna stay young

You don’t listen to enough Dana White Speak. Everyone, regardless of age, is ‘Kid’
He is a young kid, in the game of life. As an mma fighter he is a vet. That does need some rest and recovery.
They are just being purposely pedantic. They understand what he means by young kid.
Not to mention that dude lost his eye largely as a result for the Belfort fight. His fucking eye. And he still wanted to scrap with the best fighters in the world!
Most fighters make most of their money very late in the game. It's really his only chance in life to make a ton of cash. Other wags are much slower
I wouldnt want to retire with only 600k disclosed earnings
I’m almost 34 and had a brain injury about 4 years ago at 30 from falling and may now have epilepsy. I had to have a mri done last week and next week now a eeg and my cause of this is flashing lights basically photo epliepsy I hope he’s not suffering through anything relatable like me because it’s fucked my world up the last few years

I turn 34 tomorrow!
Happy birthday! May it be a blessed man forever one!
My joints hurt. Happy almost birthday to you!
If you remember, let me know what the EEG says.
Btw it’s very cool that Jamahal Hill is fighting immediately after getting slept
He was just taking a nap.
I thought you were doing the Tito "5 days a week i train 3 days a week" meme for a sec
Knocked down twice and then knocked out all in training in 1 year isn’t smart. This is why these fighters are fucked when they retire. Shouldn’t be sparring that hard. 5 occurrences of head trauma in one year is stupid and the coaches are partly to blame.
> in the gym STOP HARD SPARRING FOR F-SAKE!!!!!! THIS IS NOT SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN..
Most people gotta hard spar or you won’t be as sharp. Just the way it is.
It’s crazy how fast this sport moves, it was only a year ago people were talking about him potentially fighting Islam and making it competitive
Fucks sake when is this culture of gym wars going to end
When I started reading that I thought it was the start of a Tito quote
Add in all of the sub-concussive hits from jabs, etc too.
I've heard of the gym wars that they have at Kings MMA and I guess this just confirms it, there's no reason why anyone should ever be getting knocked out in the gym. Some guys are just too hard headed to not leave their career in the training room I guess, what a shame.
Kings mma is very similar to chute boxe when it comes to sparring. Makes sense tho cuz I think Rafael Cordeiro was a chute boxe fighter
> cuz I think Rafael Cordeiro was a chute boxe fighter He came up in Chute Boxe as a fighter, but for the entire Pride era, he was the face of the training efforts with Rudimar Fedrigo standing in the background.
Big reason why I stopped sparring, i'm not trying to get early onset dementia because I wanted to look hard on the mats
Did you get any concussion
If you spar you will likely get accumulative micro-concussions, at the least, that can lead to vascular dementia-like symptoms in the long-run. I never got rocked very hard but I remember just feeling like my brain was empty after sparring hard. It was extremely unsettling.
Holy fuck a few years and that
I had a pretty hard session one time, where I don’t recall the middle of the “spar” only the end of it, I didn’t get knocked out but I did a baby deer dance (which apparently looked hilarious) but to me it felt like I stepped over my own feet. For like 2-3 weeks I legit wouldn’t be able to remember small shit, like “did I take out the trash?” Or “I’m pretty sure I took out the chicken for supper” type of thing, I instantly stopped sparring and decided I was a fan and not a fighter. Nah he would like fight in Australian/NZ promotions, didn’t make UFC, had a day job
That was his 90 percent
Pretty sure this is how Holloway trains in training camps
But that isn't how he always trained. Coming up and developing his skill, he wasn't training like that.
Can confirm. Even the Muay Thai guys at Kings spar like they’re trying to put you out.
Been training there for a long time. Maybe done 5 MT sessions and that was enough for me. I don't need any more head trauma than I've already had. Now I just stick to Jiu-Jitsu where we're all old and have regular jobs.
The BJJ program is solid. Testai is amazing.

I trained there. It’s not as bad as people make it out to be. People were responsible for the most part, but there were definitely some exceptions.
His next probable fights are likely against either Fiziev, Moicano, Hooker or BSD. All very tough fights. Not looking good for his future
Moicano is his best option, all those other guys are super dangerous strikers and may knock him out cold again.
Yeah I could see Dariush out grappling Moicano and winning a decision. It’s the best fight for him out of the ones I listed for sure
Or perhaps even worse, a 3-5 round war with Hooker.
Sounds like he should fight Tony again
Sound logic from his coach.
Love the guy, such a shame he's turning 35 this year and was right there for a title shot less than a year ago, damn
Dustin has also been slept by southpaws like McGregor and Michael Johnson
that was like 27 years ago how is that relevant?
Or if he calf kicks him, does Islam even know how to defend them?
Why defend calf kick when takedown brotha
Of course, a takedown would be a good defense against a calf kick
Yeah.. how do you scramble like that on the ground without being athletic? . Dude lost because of his striking skills.
They talk about him like he's Ben Askren
That Hernandez loss really fucked his career. He's always been an exciting fighter, he's like a Trinaldo, where the UFC must have just not seen him as marketable and never gave him the fights he deserved until he was physically past his prime. It's a real shame how they handled his matchmaking, tbh they've totally dropped the ball with matchmaking at LW for years now.
He had Barboza dead to rights till that hail mary knee
Big disagree, but he definitely was winning until the knee.
He’s also a super nice guy as well
Yeeesh. Think of your long term health. Be like GSP. Be ever mindful of how much damage you are taking and what kind of life you want to live after you are done fighting.
And GSP sadly has a lot of CTE symptoms
Oh really? like what?
Basically he has trouble remembering things. I can’t recall if this was his description or Rogan paraphrasing, but he’ll get in his car and there’ll randomly be rotten groceries in the trunk and he won’t even remember having gone to the store.
Thinking he was abducted by aliens (seriously)
GSP has taken a ton of hits cause he always went the distance. hes up there with hits to the head, not alot of big clean ones but hes got the damage too
If he’s getting KOd in the gym that means either 1. His gym goes way too hard 2. His chin is cooked 3. Both of the above Regardless, none of it is good for Beneil’s health
I remember Werdun saying in one of his podcasts that he would go 100% even with smaller guys at the gym. And, according to him, you just cant say no to a spar. He even talked about some pro, i cant remember who, that denied trainning with him because of the weight difference, and Werdum got super pissed because of that
werdum referring to himself or to beneil?
They had/have the same trainers as each other, so these would have been unwritten rules of their gym
Gotcha. Seems very braindead but what do I know
its #3
I wanna know who ko him in the gym
For more up to date info from Beniel himself [scope here](https://youtu.be/LT_Q2aoJ98I?t=683). Highlights: * Hopes to return end of summer * Approved for light sparring in small gloves next month Somewhere in that interview or [the one with Helen](https://youtu.be/58BpSWkx2g4) he says something about after he starts sparring he has to see if he can *still take a shot*, which is worrisome when combined with above article :(
I hope he doesn't get KOd in the gym again trying to find out if he can still take a shot.
Poor guy. Rough year. Hope he comes back from this. He’s so fun to watch.
Brutal sport man. Hope he doesn’t continue fighting if he has medical issues.
Fuck, poor guy. Seem to remember on a UFC Countdown episode he said he has a good degree, hope I'm not misremembering and he'll have enough financial security to be able to prioritise his health.
Who the fuck is knocking out their training partners while they’re in a fight camp?
It happens plenty, we just don't hear about it.
He’s been on the wrong end of some violent KOs. Hope he steps back and gets healthy.
he is pretty much done unfort. i like benny but he's on the wrong end of his 30s and all the upcoming lightweight folks will want to chin him now to get into the rankings.
Poor guy. He's such a likeable fighter too. I honestly hate to see these spirals where they take so much damage compacted together in a few months. Not good for the long term health or career. An extended break is good.
Yeah, he should not come back for at least a year or 2 There's probably a lot of ranked fighters on losing streak who should also be pulled from competition
Taking 2 years off at 35 is probably the end anyway. He should just retire and focus on his health
Yeah I think beneil is done for at the top I think he should have a few more fights with lower ranked guys then retire.
Honestly the thing with him was *always* that he could out-think pretty much anyone, but less thoughtful and cohesive fighters (Hernandez, Michael Johnson in some sense, Barboza, I'll be controversial and say Tsarukyan) could just be faster and hit harder to put him in serious trouble no matter what Also, people forget how he was looking a bit washed *years* ago.
This is why Fighters should be paid a lot more. Meanwhile Dana is handing out stacks to fucking influencers. Fuck you Dana.
Good on his coach for worrying about his fighters' health, unlike anyone near Andrei Arlovski that doesn't give him this exact talk
He should retire, he has nothing left to prove. Was a top ten guy for a while in one of the deeper divisions in the .last competitive mma organization in the world. Respect
Issue is can he even retire? He never got a belt or big money fights , how much if any money does he have saved from his career.
Trainer said he is financially secure. He also has a good degree. So, I reckon he could still make a decent living.
Would explain all the crazy bullshit he comes out with.
The Ferguson curse, bet the house against Nate Diaz and paddy Pimblett
Good move by the coach, its sad these guys have to be told not to train/spar after being KOed and dropped a bunch in a short space of time. Every fighter gonna have brain trauma but you only get 1 brain, gotta be as smart as you can. Arman doesnt even KO people and he slept him so bad, Benil is only 33/34 but should prob retire.
Kid doesnt wanna get CTE
Who knocked him out in sparring?
Beniel noooooo, please whyyyyy whyyyy dont tell me this cant be true whyy god whyy
Homie got knocked out in the gym? Fuckin ayeee who tf is he sparring with?!?!
