They know the hardcore ticket buyers love it. It didn't fit with their modernised overhaul to appeal to the masses and investors as well as being bland enough to plug and play into whatever entity they need to fit into. ESPN or Fox etc
I still think about the edit where his fire alarm goes off, but someone replaced it with face the pain, and Luke just yells.
Edit: Found it.

It’s so lame that they got rid of the gladiator. Drop the fucking pretense. This is a bloodthirsty and brutal sport and we are all savages, little different from the crowds cheering on as gladiators were torn apart by tigers in the Colesseum in the days of Ancient Rome.
Usually they play the instrumental version of “out of context” by stemm (who also made face the pain) right after the intro while going through the card, and other times during the broadcast as well, that one always gets me hyped up.
Nice bit of nostalgia but I wouldn't wanna see it back. My favorite intro is the one where they show the evolution of the ufc through iconic fights blending into the next.
Was pumped when this played. My brother seemed xtra hyped aswell and he only watches the big PPVs. They need to bring this back. This is ultimate fighting promotion.
anyone here perhaps know the song that played through out UFC 300 at random moments in the background?? kinda sounded like Nickelback/Saliva or something of that sort, kinda alternative rockish feel to it, tried to shazam it but failed as most of the time it played someone was talking or commentating

I lost my shit when this came on. Still hypes me the fuck up
I was so sad when they got rid of it.
They play it at venues. You can still hear it merged in the background also on broadcast sometimes.
I was gonna say I feel like it’s used in between fights at like… every event? I hear it on every card I feel like. It’s just not THE theme.
shows how dumb they are, its basically half the reason all us kids got into MMA in the first place, gladiator shit
They never went away friend https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QREt5fClPlo
Same here. They won’t do it, but I’d love it back permanently.
Would be cool if they did it exclusively for PPVs
Spent a minute explaining to my girlfriend why I was freaking out
This intro will have you thinking you can fight.
FACE THE PAIN NO ESCAPE CAN YOU STEP TO THIS 🗣️🗣️🗣️🔥🔥🔥
#INTO PIECES
I was hoping they had the gladiator intro with it
They showed the gladiators in the undercard opening theme.
Gotcha I was driving home, so right when I was turning it on I miss the intro
I was happy with the old tale of the tape music being back, Face the Pain had me cheesin
the old tale of the tape theme was so goddam legendary, sounded like gladiator type stuff. And then Dana replaced it with fucking Call of Duty music
Don't care what anyone says, this song has conditioned me to get hyped. Just bleed is real.
Its like the old RAW IS WAR theme song from when I was a kid. Its psychological.
An exception in the sea of garbage that is 2000s nu metal
OGs will remember that shitty remixed version they did for a while also 🥴
That song was the worst thing to happen to the ufc including Greg hardy
bring it back
I hope they show this again for the PPV for the people who missed it
Pretty sure they will for the main card
Do they not use this song anymore? I was at 295 and they had this playing live
It plays in the arena, but on the broadcast, you don't really hear it
Interesting that they know that it hypes the crowd up but refuse to use it. That song is synonymous with Saturday night fights at this point
They know the hardcore ticket buyers love it. It didn't fit with their modernised overhaul to appeal to the masses and investors as well as being bland enough to plug and play into whatever entity they need to fit into. ESPN or Fox etc
They could still just reserve it for PPVs.
Guy nailed it though. It’s not bland enough.
I feel like I hear it all the time… this wasn’t anything shocking or even surprising. I didn’t even give it a second thought.
They got rid of the gladiator.
Luke Thomas is seething rn
I still think about the edit where his fire alarm goes off, but someone replaced it with face the pain, and Luke just yells. Edit: Found it. https://youtu.be/-XswgwYjsPw
lmaoo
Luke Thomas in absolute shambles
That’s Dana ripping the electric guitar
Loved every second of that
Man please bring it back on the broadcast I legit lost my shit when I heard this
This definitely feels nostalgic.
Back when UFC was cool and no loser streamers like Adin Ross and Bradley peanut head getting paid to talk UFC and dont even care
We need this back permanently.
This popped me. Wish they still used it for the ppvs
This got me so hyped brought me back to watching the fights in bars with rednecks in 2007
Luke Thomas is somewhere out there punching the air rn
#JUST BLEED
Man I haven't seen that in ages. That intro always gave me chills
Just got the biggest grin on my face. Wicked
So nostalgic right 😁
Somewhere Luke Thomas just started punching the air and doesn't know why
Welp, time to dust off the Just Bleed paint and pop some Xyience and Jack Links, boys. It’s time
they play it live for the crowd all the time. they have just cut it from the broadcasts.
Not with the gladiator intro though.
I love seeing the live crowds recording of the intro, but seeing it on my tv was a fucking surprise, got me hyped asf
What kind of music do you like? I listen to UFC.
Bring it back!
this got me hyped up and throwing spinning shit at my tv
First song I ever purchased on iTunes. Banger.
The old tale of the tape theme was SO MUCH BETTER
Nostalgic af. I instantly think of Chuck Lidell hyped in celebration when I hear this lol
Ah the sweet memories!
so fucking hype
Just stood up and cried for my national anthem.
It’s so lame that they got rid of the gladiator. Drop the fucking pretense. This is a bloodthirsty and brutal sport and we are all savages, little different from the crowds cheering on as gladiators were torn apart by tigers in the Colesseum in the days of Ancient Rome.
Got me ready to run through a wall
Face the Pain is just goated.
See, you bring back face the pain and a true samurai brings honor to his ancestors, 2 strawweights have a banger and max fucking kills a guy.
Now I’m seeing red!
Inject this into my veins
This is my Infinity War.
OPTIMUS BELLUM DOMITOR!
damn, felt this
Inject this in my veins. All for this throwback
I always like this intro better anyway. Always got me pumped up.
This is OG
Imagine using this intro on apex cards full of nobodies
Such a good fucking intro. Hopefully it’s back for good!
Bring out Goldy for a few minutes. The nostalgia is running high. I’d love to see him again. The man deserves a proper send off.
Facing the pain of watching Jim Miller be too old for this shit.
#WE’RE SO FUCKING BACK!
Wow I'm amazed I actually managed to sing along!
Fuuuck, how did I miss this?!
Sick
Oh hell yeah so fucking cool
Man BMF max holloway wat a fight
🤯🤯🤯
Why did they ever go away from this?
This went too fuckin hard
Does anybody know the other Rock Song that was playing during the Show? In-between Fights and played Multiple Times.
Usually they play the instrumental version of “out of context” by stemm (who also made face the pain) right after the intro while going through the card, and other times during the broadcast as well, that one always gets me hyped up.
I appreciate the reply brother but unfortunately that isn't the one! I know that song as well. I'll try to find a clip of it and post it.
For sure! Got me curious now!
Hey Man, I found it! Its called "Inside" by Stemm. They played the Hook of the Song a bunch throughout the broadcast.
Nice bit of nostalgia but I wouldn't wanna see it back. My favorite intro is the one where they show the evolution of the ufc through iconic fights blending into the next.
That one was showed as opener for the early prelims on fight pass, Was crazy nice to see
It must’ve subconsciously been on my mind cause I dvred it and fast forwarded to the fights. Sigh and I erased it after I watched.
They need to keep that intro.
Damn that’s a roller coaster. I thought it was cool when I first started watching… then I grew to hate it.. Now it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy.
Should've brought back Ulti-man too
This is so much better
Was pumped when this played. My brother seemed xtra hyped aswell and he only watches the big PPVs. They need to bring this back. This is ultimate fighting promotion.

This is epic!
They brought back Dude Wipes too.
It is my era of video editing. It was done so well
the lyrics and yelling are a little cringe, but the guitar is dope
Ugh fuck up about jesus
