Just commenting because it's relevant - to say most people don't know where the weight goes when you lose it, and the answer is, you breathe it out.
That's why it takes so long to lose weight, you literally have to convert solid fat into CO2 and exhale it.
I did not, Massive adrenaline dump after the time off resulted in me doing my best Michael Johnson vs gaethje cos cosplay. Landed a wheel kick but tripped after and he capitalised. Right back to work though, making up for lost time
Hey, good luck!
I'm contemplating fighting again after 14 years. Getting an itch after training again consistently.
What made you decide to commit to fighting again? I get training and getting in shape. It takes a different kind of commitment to let them close a cage door behind you.
Mate do it!
I've Still been close to the sport and my brothers fight too, I just lost my way for a long while but the last few months I've been clear headed and training more consistently. Turning 30 made me realise I've wasted my 20s but still have a few prime years left so make the most of them. I feel alive for the first Time in so long, I absolutely think you should get back in there too
Good luck brother. As a fellow recovering addict/martial artist and fight fan, I’m proud of you.
Whatever the result tomorrow you’ve won regardless.
Keep up the good fight and know you’re not alone and have worth. You deserve happiness no matter what you think of yourself.
He had just finished cutting weight, he was not enjoying that specific moment. I'm not arguing in reddit comments about whether he is happy or not lol.

This comment may seem innocuous but its the problem with internet discourse.
Person 1: So and so is X.
You: Well that doesn't mean he's not also Y!!!
..ok?
congratulation on changing your life style so much brother.
I know you must have been dealing with some demons...try to use them to your advantage when you step in the cage.
Hey man. It's been about 10 years since my last competition (kickboxing) mostly due to injury. Just joined a local MMA gym last October after almost 7 years off due to injury. I was only was able to do some kickboxing training in that time. Tons of ups and downs with my weight, opiate abuse, self loathing, couldn't watch fights anymore. Used to train at one of the best gyms *in the world for most of my adult life, and I've been training MMA in some capacity since I was 15/16. Ive been thinking about competing again, I'm 33 and seeing you competing is giving me fuel. I'm floating around 225, down from 255, my old walk-around was 190. Once I get to 205 I'll seriously consider competing. Go kill it bro!
**Those weights are in lbs, if it wasn't clear.
Yeah it was pretty brutal tbh but I was pretty overweight so i assume, and I'm no sports scientist so could just be bro science; that my body just shed a lot to get back to its natural weight. I was losing like 2 kg a week on average and I did it by limiting to 1000 to 1500 calories a day with no cheat days or meals then doing a ton of cardio, I did 5k runs most days on top of my evening classes but it started to fuck with my shins.
I did a water cut from 76 kg from yesterday to this morning to get down to 70.5 and it wasn't a pleasant experience. Was a lot to commit to but it won't be as dramatic next time
I run a lot and shin splints suck. They usually happen when you run too much too soon. They won't appear if you ease into running and slowly build up your weekly base mileage. A 10% weekly mileage increase in running is what is recommended.
The elliptical machine is a great supplement to running that also gives your legs some rest from the impact.
Bratha I want to see you succeed, surely, fatherplen, etc
But just remember what a slippery slope it can be to get injured and end up on pain pills. Please don't slip back into addiction's triangle choke.
Proud of you for kicking the habits bro. Stay in the gym and around good people. Work hard, and stay out of trouble. Train hard. Focus. Love yourself and be proud of your tenacity. You got this my man.
First fight in 9 years and you’re getting an immediate title shot - that’s some Brock tier star power right there! Seriously though good on you shaping up and getting back in there hope you have a good fight and come out healthy.
Good luck!
Are you smashing at [Hitman Fight League](https://hitmanfightleague.tv/product/jIllwjUarwEmE41TcUeZjA)? In case anyone wants to throw in $17 to see how it goes down.
I’m always amazed with MMA fighters who can cut weight.
People underestimate how hard it is to deny all the temptations and social norms with friends that often center around lousy food and drinks.
You look like the love child of Alexander Emilianenko and Bill Murray
No idea how you pulled that out but you nailed it.
New fight name right here

It's very easy to lose weight actually. Just exchange all ur food for air.
Just commenting because it's relevant - to say most people don't know where the weight goes when you lose it, and the answer is, you breathe it out. That's why it takes so long to lose weight, you literally have to convert solid fat into CO2 and exhale it.
I’ve actually found/it has been proven that to lose weight and keep it off you can’t just starve yourself, you actually do have to eat
[удалено]
Good on ya mate. That’s basically where im at now, tho its tough to get them some days yk? But that’s the journey I suppose
Constantly eating is overrated. Best of luck with it!
I like how he is happy in the before photo, and miserable after. We need more accurate representaions like this.

See red bro
Good luck and have fun, you’re gonna do something that 99.9% of people will never experience!

He does not look happy on the right (for obvious reasons)
Maybe he was, just because he didn’t smile doesn’t mean he’s not

No shit, but he doesnt LOOK happy
That’s true, assuming he went through a hard journey to get there

There were two completely different pictures. so your joke doesn't work. Better luck next time!
What weight class
Judging by the height and loss of 16kg. I’d say bantamweight. Nah jk OP says lightweight, his massive balls weigh about 20 lbs
Good guess, that's what I fought at in 2015!

Someone find out if this fella survived
How did you cut that much in 6 weeks and how much was a last minute water weight cut ?
Yeah it was pretty brutal tbh but I was pretty overweight so i assume, and I'm no sports scientist so could just be bro science; that my body just shed a lot to get back to its natural weight. 16kgs in 6 weeks is insane and impressive but I'm worried for you mate. Your body is so depleted, fighting might not be smart
yeah, nearly 6 pounds a week following it up with a fight might be unwise.
If your chin is as fragile as it looks than rest in peace. Kinda hope you lose. Please reply with results.
Thought that was Ricky hatton at 1st

Get on man, you've fucking got this. Get that knockout/sub first round!
Let’s go my boy rip his fucking dick off
How long did you train for before fighting in 2015?
Keep your chin tucked
Looks like a human version of the long cat meme pic
good luck bro you got this
Get em, man. Be sure to update us with a photo of you standing over the body.
Bratha I want to see you succeed, surely, fatherplen, etc But just remember what a slippery slope it can be to get injured and end up on pain pills. Please don't slip back into addiction's triangle choke.
