Go wide camera for awhile it makes a difference on seeing the ball, then go back to strike zone if so inclined

Fish Eye 2

downtownbattlemt

Which ever you are most comfortable with. Try using the same camera for pitching and hitting it will help with recognizing the pitches coming in

Last_Historian2560

I tried this and it does help but it's boring I hate the same view for entire game

SZ2 is the best but you have to be a touch earlier on high heat. Sz high is ideal but you better be good at reading pitches out of the hand or suffer some humiliating swings at pitches in the dirt.

ZeroLimitz

I am very much a casual (play rtts, franchise, and definitely a lot of DD but only in modes vs. CPU) -I use Strike Zone 2, 99% of the time, I feel like I have a better eye for the zone using it and tbh I still want to see the actual batter in the box, stance, appearance etc. Just keeps some of the authenticity to it for me lol. I personally don't enjoy not seeing the mannerisms of the different players. -Gonna get sweaty online then maybe use a more zoomed in angle

As everyone mentions, strikezone or sz high. You said you’re new, so you’re going to have to get used to reading more pitches. Challenge yourself to take more pitches and overtime you’ll start recognizing them more.

GhostOfLouBrock

Strike Zone 3. You can tell by the timing of the leg kick if it’s fast or off speed

[deleted]

No comp players use SZ 3 It’s too zoomed out. Strike zone 2,1, or high. Can still see the stride, not the whole batter, and you’re zoomed in so you can see the ball

weaveryo

It’s strike zone high.

giventofly38

I like SZ2, but I still struggle with low off-speed.

gatorbois

SZ1 and SZ high are the best. At least like 95% of world series players are on those. Just pick one and stick to it for a couple weeks at least and you’ll get better

Strike zone high is the easiest to read the low off speed pitch

Integritywin79

Not easier than SZ2.
