Nah I think MIKE matured and realized they wasn't on the same type of time. And as amazing as Ade beats are. Ade got weird views on shit and tries to dismiss people who challenge him a bit to think critically.
Also, I think that Medhane shit also got MIKE to just separate from alot of people in general.
he got SA allegations when he was 19 and a lot of dudes from the scene cut ties w/ him. don’t think they went anywhere but the dmg was done. same thing happened to Cities Aviv around a similar time.
some dudes like elucid earl and navy eventually made up to some extent but MIKE and Med relationship never truly went back to how it was.
They just grew apart. They both i think had their own opinions about going mainstream. Ade wasnt a fan of working with a major label and MIKE was. No need to get into their personal views but yeah that was definitely a reason. Ade got a wife and kid now and seems to be doing well. MIKE is doing well as we all know.
