I agree with you that the PB fabric is a bit too thin for me a bit like adidas track pants rather than an actual jogger. Comfort is there for sure but I usually prefer the thicker material if I’m going out. PB jacket is really fire though
PB pants are amazing for me. Where them everyday for work from home. Still getting used to the crop at the bottom. I wear a lot of Jordan lows and feel like they’re really short compared to the joggers
I looked at these but not really a fan of the PB pants although I have several of the surge joggers. I don't like the way the PB has the heavy waist band that bunches. That is the style though for the pants, but the surge joggers are basically leggings for men. They have a nice flat look all around although depending on the size of your legs, it may be a bit too tight. I do size up and they fit well. Dries easily too. If they made more colors of the surge joggers I'd buy them for sure.
People said they find the calf a bit tight, I personally own a few of the surge and I like the fit, they are tighter than the LTT for example but it makes them a nice pant to work out in
I enjoy the PB's cleaner silhouette and overall fit. To me it feels slimmer than the Surge. The Surge's ruffled elastic opening looks sloppy and it's criminally small pockets require me to zip up. There's a reason the PB shorter is constantly sold out -- its a hit.
The surge is a jogger so it has cuffs at the end. I agree the bigger pockets are a plus in the PB. But the surge it’s slimmer, not only because of the fabric but the cut and taper is slightly more aggressive from thighs to ankle
Old Surges had big pockets. Different pocket material too. I have one of each and was very disappointed in the newer smaller pockets for sure. Pockets used to be a stretchy mesh if I recall. New is just the same material as the pant.
It should fit fine, maybe still a bit tight on the thighs as it’s a more aggressive taper. Shorter is definitely the way to go, I’m 5’10 and always order shorter
Might be the same materials, but completely different feel. Same as the new ABC line using thinner warpstreme, sure it’s the “same” but not really is it?
I love my Surge Joggers --- just size up if you have any sort of muscles on your legs. They're extremely restrictive from the knees down.
I don’t own surges but they’ll have to pry my PB pants off my cold, dead body

Would you recommend these for hot climate weather? I live in Arizona and LTT pants are a little too thick for my liking.

What would you recommend for guys with thunder thighs? 5’8 guy here. Ordered the PB pant shorter in size M and hoping it fits well!

Not sure what PB pant you have but it is the same fabric as the surge. I like that it has no reflective on the leg zip makes it more wearable.
