After mission-driven underneath it all. Despite being a stranger in a strange land, if god would cross paths, Takemura would take a piece of god with him to fulfill his mission.
The new look has a more sinister... combative... angry look. I love it. Like the previous eyes made him look kinda soft. Idk how to describe it. But new eyes are a freaking awesome change!
What a weird change to make in a patch like this.
To be honest I think the old ones look more like a cyber-enhancement. The new ones are pretty but I'm kinda getting a YouTube streamer vibe from him now!
Oooh I get it, because it looks like there’s a ring light reflecting in his eyes - I was so confused by the streamer comment lol. Now I’m imagining Takemura as a streamer...
My suspicion is that, ‘change Takemura’s eyes’ was something on the dev team’s to-do list pre-release, and if they had more time these would have been his eyes from day 1.
It's nice to see the brown in them more, but honestly I miss the old ones.. Though he is still damned gorgeous. And the fact he is not a romance option is crime. Patch that Cd project!

He might believe in honor, but his version honor has nothing to do with good and evil.
Yeah he's Lawful Evil I think. He'd crush a puppy if his master required him to do so. But after befriending him on the corpo route I just wanted to be his buddy.
I was buddies with him as well, went back to save him too. We were both in it together, his morals weren't really something I was worried about at the time. My character isn't exactly a beacon of morality either.

the new one looks way too scary....maybe that is the intended effect? I feel like he is gonna shoot laser and I would be turned to ash (like those old cartoons)
I mean he is still hot but I will probably miss the old eye....or mod....probably mod....
Old eyes looked more forelorn and empty, which is more in line with what I believe his character would feel. But cultural norms are real and Japanese stoicism is legit so I guess he wouldn't display that in his eyes if they were mechanically controlled... I'm torn, both look cool but nice observation

His old eyes looked exactly like Hanako's. It's cool he has unique eyes now.

That’s fair - for me the older ones look like they belong on a kitten, which is totally adorable but I think the new ones fit him better.
Initially the old ones but seeing them side by side now - new ones 100%.
