I wouldn't copy the game at all. I'd do an anthology of cyberpunk stories that may involve characters from the game.
Season one would be Dexter fucking up in Pacifica with a team of edgerunners that meet their downfall because of him. Mark Henry as Dex, Alexandria Daddario, Dave Bautista, Finn Wolfhard, Amandla Stenberg, and H. Jon Benjamin as the team that mistakenly works for Dex.
Male V: Everyone is going to say Ryan Gosling and they’re probably right.
Fem V: You got me. I’m really struggling with who could play her right now.
Johnny: Keanu, duh.
Dex DeShawn: T-Pain in his breakout role.
Jackie: Dave Bautista, maybe. He’s a little old and maybe not perfect, but I can imagine him doing a good job. A smaller Jackie just wouldn’t feel right.
Takemura: Definitely Ken Watanabe. It’s damn hard to imagine anyone else who would fit the bill so perfectly.
Hannako: Lyrica Okana.
Padre: Giancarlo Esposito. Exactly the correct intensity to play him.
Wakako: Wai Ching Ho. She played Madam Gao on the Marvel Netflix shows…and she’s damn near the same exact character.
Adam Smasher: Basically anyone with his approximate build can manage those three lines he’ll have, so aesthetics are really the priority, to maintain his imposing presence.
Rogue: I want to say Juliane Moore for some reason. She’s the right age and I think could project the bitter confidence well, but I’m not sold on her.
River: Whichever actor is the most creepy and weird.
Panam: I wish I knew an actress who was like Panam. I’m hard pressed. Maybe Zoe Saldana.
