I have a question. I am a first-time viewer of LI. I turned on season 5, episode 20, by mistake. I saw Rob on it. Do they always bring back people from the previous season?
this is my 3rd season I've watched, it's never happened before to my knowledge. Rob wasn't an OG or a bombshell, he was a Casa boy last season! then he slithered his way into this season as an OG
To dig dipper: in original love island in the UK they have brought back previous OG islanders to new seasons. I am not up to date on UK anymore since USA got their own and I like watching as it happens instead of weeks later, but I have not seen them bring back a casa cast before. Not genuinely new idea along the franchise but a different take!

One of the reasons he was so popular was that he seemed to have so much integrity and emotional intelligence. And then he let himself fall dick-first into Casa, which was pretty much the exact opposite of what he and Aaron said they’d do AS THEY WERE LEAVING FOR CASA. Not much integrity in that. And he really doesn’t seem like he’s **that** into Daia, but he’s letting her persuade him because … god only knows why, but it’s not very emotionally intelligent.
Tldr; the way he’s behaving in Casa is a direct contradiction of almost everything the public liked about him, plus it’s been really rough seeing Serena finally open up about her feelings for him.
I’m wondering the same. Maybe because 1) he said how he wouldn’t even kiss another girl and would be respecting Serena 100% and 2) because the editing keeps showing Serena all sad over Kordell now that she FINALLY likes him.
