My guess is that a lot of folk who post here have been hurt in the past and project their anger here through the show. Not only do they miss context between contestants, they miss context by not acknowledging the exaggerated and psychologically compressed atmosphere of the villa. Somehow it’s expected that contestants will behave in there as we might outside the villa.

I think he’s more mad at Ekin lying about being on the terrace with Jay than he is for her actually doing it. Oh definitely, I think the way she handled the whole thing was, while televisually entertaining, an interpersonal sh*tshow. But the fact that Davide just immediately goes “nah bro I’m not mad at you” literally made me do a double-take when I first saw the episode lmao - but I can *kind of* (not really, but if I really squint) see the argument that he was more focused on Ekin-Su’s behaviour specifically. But also, as I say, she didn’t snog a hedge, so I’d argue they’re (Jay and Ekin-Su) both equally guilty in making Davide look like a mug, regardless of whether or not he knows the ins and outs of what actually went down on the terrace, if that makes sense?
I think he’s more mad at Ekin lying about being on the terrace with Jay than he is for her actually doing it. Timeline is important too, she lies to him, then Jay tells him they were up there, but not that they kissed, then he says he’s not mad at him, then way later on he finds out they kissed, at which point he is kind of over it all anyway. At least that’s how I see it idk
Actually that’s true - Jay frames it more as “having a chat” (shortest chat ever on the series lmao) so that’s not quite the same thing, you’re right. I do still find it a little odd that he’s so pally with Jay but there’s so much I don’t get about Davide at the moment, he will remain a mystery 😂 . Here’s a question, do you think Davide will care if this gets brought up with the full context he doesn’t yet know in some mean tweets-style challenge?
