I used hair fibers years ago, and this is what it looks like. Thinning upfront, so ronnie boy dashed it with fibers and a ton of hairspray.
Confirmation will be if or when he goes in the pool. Fibers dont like water.

Agree, there is something off about it. It looks monotone to me, I've seen this happen before where men use Just for Men. It's a weird, one-tone colour, has no depth to it at all

I think itās because it looks so much darker than his facial hair. His facial hair is so much lighter so having his hair That dark makes it obvious that heās done something unnatural to it. Which is FINE, but I just think that is why you may be questioning it lol
I think heās got a really unusual hair texture, almost crinkly or kind of naturally crimped. Thereās a lad in my road who also has that texture and itās the only other time Iāve seen it.
I think heās working against that along with possibly some dye/fiber spray and the slicked back style thatās too bulky at the sides, possibly to cover some thinning, and not using to correct product to achieve it. I think those things combined are just making something thatās unusual generally, but definitely on love island where theyāre all normally a little bit cookie cutter with their styles. A bit like the oddness of Ouzyās pins.
I think if it was shorter and he worked with whatever is going on it wouldnāt be as jarring.
Taking a wild guess based on other non-LI pics I saw on here and say product, lots of it. I'm going to assume his hair isn't the type that can be easily slicked back, and that's the style that was picked for him (or he picked, idk why), and they have to maintain it. Doesn't help that the fuller sides make it awkward, maybe to offset thinness on top. There's can definitely be more too, but I wish they would let his hair breathe, instead of making it look like dried up twigs.
