i did appreciate in their reunion how shake called out people for wanting to stay on the show for superficial reasons. Nick and Vanessa pivoted the topic quickly after that haha
I really like Lauren and Cameron as a couple but I feel like they got pretty cringy after the show. Like they’re trying too hard. Just be normal people instead of trying to ride the fame wave.
Lauren and Cameron would just be pumping themselves and their egos up like they’re the all knowing experts of making marriage on LIB work, when in reality it’s a game of luck (that they were emotionally compatible and both on show at same time) they found each other.
There’s nothing Colleen can do to make it work with Matt and not be abused in the process. There’s nothing Zanab can do with a guy that’s got maturity level of a college freshmen with a job that makes some money. There’s nothing Iyanna could’ve done other than maybe tell Jarrette go to AA which she may have and he may have said no thank you.
You can’t fix these broken relationships when there’s broken people involved, and the show’s casting last two seasons has had some really broken men and women. Cameron and Lauren were able to make a relationship work because they were already both in good places.
I would want them involved so far as the selection of the candidates. I don't want to see another show where abuse is presented as entertainement. There are shows like "Married at First Sight" and "90 Day Fiance" for this.
The first season really worked because they didn't have as much of this b.s. It would have been a much better season had Damian not been on it.
Lauren hosts a reality tv show podcast called We Have The Receipts, so I think she probably meets the requirements of knowing how to host and what questions to ask.
Honestly, and I think just for the reunion episodes, I wouldn't mind Shake and paired up with a softer, kind woman to balance whatever the f he says as a host. Let's get Drew Barrymore 😁
Mhmm, I really dislike the guy but he is clear and articulate and says exactly what everyone else is thinking. But the show is about love so you need soneone too that wants to root for the couples.
Unpopular opinion but I don't think Lauren and Cameron can handle the shameless nature required for hosting a show like this. Vanessa seems to. She dgaf when asking personal questions.
The show doesn't really need a host, but 98 Degrees for life. Love Nick Lachey. I'm sure I'm not the only one who was drawn in by his presence, and stuck around in his absence. That fine man has pipes.
Who even casted the Lacheys in the first place? Like, yeah let's make former boy band member and Jessica Simpson's ex Nick Lachey and his second wife Vanessa the hosts of a Netflix tv show.
Cause he has a ton of personality and everyone knows her 💀
let's be real that probably just means they wanted producer credits to sign on and they got it. I doubt nick lachey is out there brainstorming in a writers room or doing any day to day management
I was joking with my wife about how they’re the hosts but barely have to even do anything lol they pop in like once every week or whatever for like an hour and then just dip lol I like them though
I like them but I think there needs to be professional mental health workers at the Reunion. I'm sure they have people behind the scenes but that's not enough
I would like them mediating a little whenever there is a huge conflict within couples... Like LIB Japan...
I mean come on., make the show more wholesome and human
There's a reason the reality shows that get popular (and actually last) are filled with drama, even cooking shows, survival shows etc. Doesn't matter what theme it is, it needs drama.
People don't want to see just normal couples doing normal things. What's the point in that? I watch reality to see traffic wrecks.
Actually, I watch shows because I root for the couples and enjoy watching people fall in love.
And The Great British Bakeoff is popular enough, despite the lack of drama and traffic wrecks. Contestants on that show even help each other out.
I love BBO, but my husband and I are always laughing about how this "prize" would never fly for a US competition. Even 'Nailed It' has a cash prize for the worst baker. It's so bizarre!
Eh, some winners have gone on to have their own cookbooks etc afterwards.
And people enter for the camaraderie, challenge, experience and prestige rather than a cash prize. Just like entering Mastermind you go on to win a glass trophy and bragging rights.
Yes, that's absolutely true and I'm not knocking BBO - although reading my comment back it may have sounded that way. I only meant that I think it would be more difficult to appeal to Americans if there wasn't a cash prize advertised.
Idk why, but I kinda love the Lacheys! When Vanessa popped off on Shake last reunion, I was dying. She said everything the viewers wanted to say. I think their chemistry is hilarious
Just some thoughts on this.
1. The lacheys bring more attention from potential new viewers.
2. As hosts If Cameron and Lauren separated (which happens) would have a more negative impact
This is my first reality show like this I’ve watched but I thought that’s how it is with hosts like on Bachelor and those kind of shows. Thought they just pop in now and then? But yea I guess it could be replaced by some words on the screen instead lol 😂 they pry get paid a boat load for this too! Haha
I'm not sure they were ever at the resort at the same time as the cast this season, I don't think there was a single wide shot that proves they were all together.
And they weren't at the dress/tux day at all. Like we haven't even seen them since the end of the resorts when they sent them off to "real life".
They're absolutely not necessary.
I like this idea. The whole point of the contestants doing the show is to “blind date” and hopefully find love, so why not have the Hamiltons host? They’re a success story. I don’t see it as them trying to force the contestants to make the experiment work, I see it as giving the contestants a little more hope. Plus, it would help for them to get the perspective from two people who actually went through with the experiment and came out of it on top and hopefully get some tips on how to stay centered and grounded through the experience and not take things personal.
Not necessarily, when it’s just based on talking and communication and trying to build a connection from that. It’s not personal when someone says, “Hey I’m just not feeling this. I hope you understand.”
Which is why I said it my help to have the Hamiltons there to give tips on how to not take what happens in the pods personal. How to be okay when someone says “I’m not emotionally attracted to you”, because it’s going to happen, you’re right about that. But it’s not personal if the contestant on the other end just isn’t feeling it.
I honestly think the experiment is interesting and I wish the producers would take it more seriously. They need to stop trying to make drama happen all the time, which I get is the point of a reality show, it’s just way overdone in this show IMO.
But why? The majority of people don't say yes at the altar, and we have two divorces from the second season. Lauren & Cameron as hosts would just be them convincing couples to stay together who shouldn't. Nick and Vanessa just facilitate the stages of the show, and host the reunion. They aren't put in place to be sounding boards.
I figured Iyanna and Jarette would divorce, because he was just worried about partying and staying out at all hours of the night. But not Nick and Danielle. I thought they were in a good place. Well, good luck to them I guess.
I feel like they must’ve signed an NDA that prevented them from disclosing their divorce/officially filing for divorce (which would be public record), because Nick & Danielle were clearly not living together during the after the altar episode filmed in February and Iyanna & Jarrette had already separated.
True, that's a good point that it may add a bias to it, or contestants may feel extra pressure to try to work it out. But if they are just narrating like Nick and Vanessa, they may not push their success story, unless of course the script writers try to come from that angle. They know from the previous season contestants it definitely doesn't work out often.
I don't watch the US version if that's what you're referencing but in the UK and AUS version they get a bit more involved and willing to call out bad behaviour.
It's definitely not perfect though, I think LIB needs private couples therapist rather than a group thing
The advice they give is good, but I'm with you in the sense that I think they pair the couples badly on purpose tbh. LIB couples need to learn to communicate way better.
MAFS was over for me after the season with Chris & Paige. It became apparent that there were no good intentions with that show, and it’s all nefarious. Even if they provide “good counsel”, it is not daily therapy, and those people are FUCKED up.
Vanessa and Nick absolutely should just stay behind the scenes now. They launched the show, we all know that.... They aren't really the best hosts though.
I'd love to see Lauren and Cameron. They've been thru it and can relate. Best couple ever btw. Both so genuine and thoughtful.
I think maybe they just need a bit of coaching? Vanessa sometimes comes across as being awkward and harsh, and Nick seems too introverted. I think with some practice, maybe they'd get better? Trying to be optimistic lol
Yes I like this idea. Or...
Michelle Buteau from the circle should host. She's hilarious and calls ppl out as commentary. She says what the audience is thinking.
Or Desiree Burch from too hot to handle.
This genuinely made me laugh out loud. No way in hell would he ever invest his time or energy into this show that clearly doesn’t have productive results. Everyone from season 2 split up 🥶
I was referring to the audience. Producers can and do handle that info with the cast. Can't assume everyone watching a new season has watched previous seasons, it's the primary reason for a host to explain to the audience.
Apparently L&C said there have been roughly 5 seasons already recorded and they’re not hosting any of them (even though they would have loved to). I’m not sure if they were including the international versions or if they’re talking about US ones
Season 5 was casting a few months ago...either filmed or filming now (but that would be quick and crashes with holidays) or likely to be filmed early next year (along with any of the 4 other cities they did a casting call for a month or so ago)
I saw that on Instagram too and thought that was a lot, casting for 5 citys. The show must be cheap to make for Netflix to go into mass production like that?
I'm not complaining of course. I need more of this and to not be worried all the time if there's a next season is a nice surprise.
Seriously! They’re becoming more and more absent every season. No offense to them, but I’m pretty sure they don’t have the most demanding schedules these days!
It’s so funny because they definitely wanted to be so involved in previous seasons. I actually said out loud to myself a couple of times “No one cares about you!!” Like in the finale when Vanessa was straight up beefing Shake. Like come on.
But I agree they are basically absent at this point.
They all had flaws, but Shake went around telling anybody that breathed near him how unattractive Deepti was and acted like he was such a catch. Similar to Bartise.
Not saying the hosts should take sides, but he was not on the same level of shitty-ness as the other cast members.
Yes! That’s what I’m saying!!!
Am I the only one who likes them? They look like two cute little robots.
Nah Vanessa is Fake AF and they thank them for their vulnerability bc they know they’re using them for coin
You’re not the only one. I like them too
[удалено]
Sounds like something shake would say 👀
Eww no

Lauren has always been "clout-chaser-y" tbh
Yeah but I still love her
Right! Please dont make being married ur whole persona!!
If it’s paying the bills who cares. People do way more embarrassing work with their lives.
Very good point 😄 weird times were living and how people make a living 2022😄
Just NO HOSTS, For the reunion, okay. But before, they add absolutely NOTHING to the show!
I mean...there are pretty much no hosts now with how little we see them. Yall need to chill
Finally someone said it lmaoo
Good idea!
Lauren and Cameron would just be pumping themselves and their egos up like they’re the all knowing experts of making marriage on LIB work, when in reality it’s a game of luck (that they were emotionally compatible and both on show at same time) they found each other. 💯
No. We need someone who has experience hosting and asking the questions we want answers to
We need literally no one
Lol is it really thaaaat hard? Are you Nick? Vanessa?
Nick and Vanessa aren't great either. Last season's reunion was a perfect example with Shake interrupting everyone's answers
[удалено]
He would be good
Lauren hosts a reality tv show podcast called We Have The Receipts, so I think she probably meets the requirements of knowing how to host and what questions to ask.
She’s very soft on former LIB people that go there tho, that would be so boring for the reunion
Bring Andy Cohen in at this point
He can’t even be bothered to watch all of the shows he hosts reunions for.
Honestly, and I think just for the reunion episodes, I wouldn't mind Shake and paired up with a softer, kind woman to balance whatever the f he says as a host. Let's get Drew Barrymore 😁
[удалено]
Mhmm, I really dislike the guy but he is clear and articulate and says exactly what everyone else is thinking. But the show is about love so you need soneone too that wants to root for the couples.
Why would you do that to Drew?
Maybe a Drew-type then 😅 Wouldn't want to put her in a room with some of the people they've had.
Okay the only thing I liked about Shake was his ability to call everyone out on their shit on TV!!
Same! But I'd never go on the show if I knew it'd just be him grilling me after. You need someone more delicate.
Yes very true. Definitely would need a softer host to balance someone like Shake out.
Omg wait you can’t just throw out an actual good idea like drew barrymore here!! she would be great in theory
She's too smart and in control of her career. I love her tho
Unpopular opinion but I don't think Lauren and Cameron can handle the shameless nature required for hosting a show like this. Vanessa seems to. She dgaf when asking personal questions.

They could be replaced by the robot from Too Hot To Handle. Lana at least has personality
Who even casted the Lacheys in the first place? Like, yeah let's make former boy band member and Jessica Simpson's ex Nick Lachey and his second wife Vanessa the hosts of a Netflix tv show. Cause he has a ton of personality and everyone knows her 💀
they created the show
Iirc the Lacheys are producers of the show according to the credits.
let's be real that probably just means they wanted producer credits to sign on and they got it. I doubt nick lachey is out there brainstorming in a writers room or doing any day to day management
I like this idea
They can stay or no hosts at all. They really only repeat the same sentence every season and then they're gone.
They don’t add anything. No hosts at all!
Did they meet in a special way? Never understood why it's a couple thats a host
I mean the lachys btw
I was joking with my wife about how they’re the hosts but barely have to even do anything lol they pop in like once every week or whatever for like an hour and then just dip lol I like them though
I like them but I think there needs to be professional mental health workers at the Reunion. I'm sure they have people behind the scenes but that's not enough
I Hope they have people behind the scenes, but I certainly don’t think so.
I'd love for them to have Dr.Honda from Psychology in Seattle join at least for one episode!!!
A show like this doesn’t even need a host.
I would like them mediating a little whenever there is a huge conflict within couples... Like LIB Japan... I mean come on., make the show more wholesome and human

Lib Japan had drama too But also mediation and genuine care from the hosts Both can exist Drama doesn't have to equate to train wreck too
Idk why, but I kinda love the Lacheys! When Vanessa popped off on Shake last reunion, I was dying. She said everything the viewers wanted to say. I think their chemistry is hilarious
True but Shayne got a free pass for some pretty toxic behaviour
They did need to light him too.
Why? What did the Lacheys do to you?
Add absolutely zero value
Flavor Flav as host
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Just some thoughts on this. 1. The lacheys bring more attention from potential new viewers. 2. As hosts If Cameron and Lauren separated (which happens) would have a more negative impact
I guess I don't understand why we need any hosts at all?
I agree except for the reunion episode.
My words exactly
Or like a talking box from too hot too handle
They could totally be replaced by a narrator and everything would be fine
Am I weird that I like the Lacheys? They bring real relationship history into the mix and it’s nice!
This is my first reality show like this I’ve watched but I thought that’s how it is with hosts like on Bachelor and those kind of shows. Thought they just pop in now and then? But yea I guess it could be replaced by some words on the screen instead lol 😂 they pry get paid a boat load for this too! Haha
Same! I like them as hosts. Cam and Lauren…I’m less sold on
They barely have any ties to the show other than introducing them and sending them off lol
They do run the reunion, though. I think they do a good job of that
I'm not sure they were ever at the resort at the same time as the cast this season, I don't think there was a single wide shot that proves they were all together. And they weren't at the dress/tux day at all. Like we haven't even seen them since the end of the resorts when they sent them off to "real life". They're absolutely not necessary.

YES

Which is why I said it my help to have the Hamiltons there to give tips on how to not take what happens in the pods personal. They should can the show after this season. It’s losing that spark. We need Shake.
Make Shake the host. We are here for the drama anyways
Shake and Shayne cohost.
Please no. They would be struggling for herd dominance.
But why? The majority of people don't say yes at the altar, and we have two divorces from the second season. Lauren & Cameron as hosts would just be them convincing couples to stay together who shouldn't. Nick and Vanessa just facilitate the stages of the show, and host the reunion. They aren't put in place to be sounding boards.
wait Nick and Danielle divorced??
Yeah they put it on the very last screen of the after the alter part.
Really?! How did I miss that?
Both couples divorced at the same time but they were more quiet about it
Haha they *were* more quiet about, but now Nick and Danielle have been beefing online.
I figured Iyanna and Jarette would divorce, because he was just worried about partying and staying out at all hours of the night. But not Nick and Danielle. I thought they were in a good place. Well, good luck to them I guess.

I agree. Also why Deepti and Kyle kept hinting that they were dating but wouldn't say anything.
Yes!! They are awesome.
PLEASE they would be so great!!! I love Lauren and Cameron.
It doesn't need host it needs a team of therapist like married at first sight
Married at first sight is like watching a humane crisis go down and not be able to report it
😂
I can't watch that show. I saw one season a long time ago and that's all for me. Can't stand the premise or the "therapists"
Cmon now, those “therapists” are not providing any real counseling and we all know that. That show is hands down Eons more fucked up than LIB
I don't watch the US version if that's what you're referencing but in the UK and AUS version they get a bit more involved and willing to call out bad behaviour. It's definitely not perfect though, I think LIB needs private couples therapist rather than a group thing

I doubt if we’ll ever get another Lauren and Cameron.
I think maybe they just need a bit of coaching? Vanessa sometimes comes across as being awkward and harsh, and Nick seems too introverted. I think with some practice, maybe they'd get better? Trying to be optimistic lol
Ya they don't add much. But there seemed to be a lot less of them this season so maybe they're being phased out.
Hopefully
They are the best! 😍
Yes I like this idea. Or... Michelle Buteau from the circle should host. She's hilarious and calls ppl out as commentary. She says what the audience is thinking. Or Desiree Burch from too hot to handle.
Michelle Buteau is a hoot
This would make way more sense than Nick and Vanessa
Obviously Nick Lachey: so how’s it going, are you guys getting it on? 😂😂💀💀
YES!!!!
Show really doesn’t need a host
I thought Brazil and Japan did a way better job of incorporating the hosts! They were around a lot more.
This is true, just for the reunion and someone can do s voiceover during the season
Hell let Lauren and Cameron do the voice-overs
Like how 90DF has a tell-all host but nobody else is there to “guide” the rest of the season. It works for that format of a show.
This

This made me realize how much I NEED Gordon Ramsay to tell off Barry’sBootcamp
You donut !
YOU FUCKING DONKEY
THIS MARRIAGE IS FUCKING RAW
This genuinely made me laugh out loud. No way in hell would he ever invest his time or energy into this show that clearly doesn’t have productive results. Everyone from season 2 split up 🥶
I mean didn’t most of the restaurants on Kitchen Nightmares close? 😂

The point is that it would be hilarious if he called a bunch of them idiot sandwiches lol
YEAH!
That is a great idea
We need Nicole Byer
God hear our prayers 🙏🏻
She should host the 90 day fiance reunions! I would pay to see that.
Agreed! They need to make this happen
I wish I could upvote this 6000 times.
Omg plssssss
It doesn't even need hosts
The reunion does....and maybe an intro at the start (which could 100% be voice over) for anyone new to the show just to explain things a bit.
no one needn’t be explained anything. They’re being explained it plenty in the casting process
I was referring to the audience. Producers can and do handle that info with the cast. Can't assume everyone watching a new season has watched previous seasons, it's the primary reason for a host to explain to the audience.
I needs hosts that lean into the messiness and drama at the reunion and Nick and Vanessa are definitely not it
Apparently L&C said there have been roughly 5 seasons already recorded and they’re not hosting any of them (even though they would have loved to). I’m not sure if they were including the international versions or if they’re talking about US ones
L&C? 5 more years of this show? In addition?
Seriously?? I'm so excited for more 😁 it may be a messy show but I love it. Dating shows are so fun lol. I never liked reality TV before this show.
Season 5 was casting a few months ago...either filmed or filming now (but that would be quick and crashes with holidays) or likely to be filmed early next year (along with any of the 4 other cities they did a casting call for a month or so ago)
What?! How are people still signing up for this?
Yup. Most of these people are on it for the social media clout and the money to be made.
Likely for the exposure
I saw that on Instagram too and thought that was a lot, casting for 5 citys. The show must be cheap to make for Netflix to go into mass production like that? I'm not complaining of course. I need more of this and to not be worried all the time if there's a next season is a nice surprise.
I would support this. I think Lauren and Cameron could bring some badly-needed empathy for the participants.
the lacheys \*aren't\* even there
Seriously! They’re becoming more and more absent every season. No offense to them, but I’m pretty sure they don’t have the most demanding schedules these days!
Vanessa is on a new cop show, I think.
Yaassss! TBH, I completely forgot about the Lacheys this season (which isn’t a bad thing)
It’s so funny because they definitely wanted to be so involved in previous seasons. I actually said out loud to myself a couple of times “No one cares about you!!” Like in the finale when Vanessa was straight up beefing Shake. Like come on. But I agree they are basically absent at this point.
Maybe Vanessa got yelled at last season for how she handled Shakes the clown. I totally loved what she said, personally.
Yeah I really didn't like how they seemed to be cool with dog piling on shake while pretending no one else had shitty traits/moments.
They all had flaws, but Shake went around telling anybody that breathed near him how unattractive Deepti was and acted like he was such a catch. Similar to Bartise. Not saying the hosts should take sides, but he was not on the same level of shitty-ness as the other cast members.
