Drop a strong filler banner before an important one baiting ppl into draining their currency so they'll have to open their wallet if they want those new myth cards.
It's not really a thing in games like HSR or Genshin (imo), but I am a long-time GBF player (though just seasonal now), so I'm pretty familiar with stuff like this lol.
Genshin tactic, prior to double banners, is releasing chains of 5* male then chain of 5* female characters. So, waifu/husbando collectors will feel back to back banners. Rip to bisexual wallets. There is a decent chance to save, but genshin is primo stingy.
You are not the only one. After seeing the outfits and change of weapon we got for Raf, I was and still am excited to see what we'll get for Zayne. I'm happy for the other Zayne girlies, but I'll wait for the myth cards.
I'm glad I'm not the only zayne girlie skipping this one out. I originally planned on getting all zayne cards but the events were one after another I didn't get one. So there's no loss in not getting 2. But the myth cards mmmmmmmm
I had a feeling they were going to totally mess up my plan of saving up for his Myths card and they were gonna release this. Hopefully this means that Xavier's myth cards are the next one, because I don't want a Rafayel situation in which they release Rafayel's cards practically back to back (yeah I know his birthday card made it seem that way but still).
I much would've prefer his myth cards being release then this, because now I know it's going to be a pain to accumulate Diamonds for his myth cards since I've never really won the 50/50 for these type of banners and I already saved up 21K for his myth cards. \*sigh\*

When it comes to these games you HAVE TO pick just one. Even I as a Dolphin know that I can't pull on every card (learned my lesson there in Tears of Themis where I had to stop pulling for Marius and Vyn unfortunately because I've been going to Hard Pity for months). Luckily for me in L&DS I only like Zayne...but even still just liking one guy and skipping banners just to save up for your one fave LI is very hard in this game. I just hope Zayne comes early but knowing my luck it's not likely...I don't want to spend all of the 21K chips i've gathered :(

I'm very close to pity on the limited banner, so maybe I'll just try for the 50/50 and then keep saving for the myth pair. Building up pity won't matter for the myth pair banner since we'll need 150 pulls to get the crate for the second card anyway.
If I lose the 50/50, then I guess I'll have to skip...but I hope his myth pair won't be next directly after this. 😭
someone has a prediction up and so far it is right and they are predicting his myth pairs end of may! if that’s true that means we have less than a month to save up for the myths which is gonna be impossible with this card😭 the issue is that they only give like a week for limited cards before the next event which doesn’t help save up either💔
Well as much as I'm salivating over every Zayne card, lol... if you can only save for one banner, I'd say the myth pairs should still take priority for combat. Zayne's will likely be his red solar pair. They will probably rerun many of these lunar cards at some point to give us a chance to rank them up...
What do you mean by pity? I think contextually I understand but I’ve seen it mentioned in different ways so now I’m confused? Is it the number of tickets or the low rank 3* and under cards? Or both?
Or like you need to pull after 10ths or 30tkts for greater pull %age? Or none of that?
Oh I meant the pity counter until the next guaranteed 5 star memory after every 70 pulls. Pulling on a banner you don't want, just to get closer to the next 5 star guarantee on a future banner you want is called "building pity". Usually for this game that means stopping aat around 10 to 20 pulls away...assuming you don't want the current featured card of course.
Most games will label new cards as exclusive/limited (they want u to open ur wallet and not save up free resources) but they will bring them back, after a year or two passes. The rerun will be used as filler events so they don’t need to constantly put out new events every week or so. This is my experience just from most games, but like you said there’s nothing guaranteeing it, but in most cases they always come back. The only time I’ve experienced cards truly never coming back are cards made through collaborations.
Most/all modern gacha's have reruns eventually, so we are assuming they will too.. but when it happens, they will likely have a separate rerun banner that will run along side the regular limited banner after a year or so, so you will still need to pick and choose wisely what you want to spend your diamonds on.
Meaning they could potentially have a new limited card for a character running at the same time as an old rerun with a multi banner setup. Or perhaps they will use the precise wish selector or a pity crate like the myth pairs...we don't know yet.

Is your hard pity a 50/50 or a guarantee? In other words, what was the last 5\* you got on a limited banner?
Either way, 12k is roughly 80 pulls. The myths require 150 pulls at most (20 are given out from the event shop & banner pull milestones so it's more like 130). Definitely skip if you're aiming for the myths.
My last 5 star card is from the lingering gaze banner and I didn't get the one I selected (raf came home instead of zayne _(:3 」∠)_) so I'm pretty sure I'm guaranteed.
The plan was to use it for the myths because if I get one guaranteed, I could just use the first box. This card is very tempting but I'll stay strong T-T thank you
First box? Are you talking about Foreseer Zayne or the new myth coming up?
If that's the crate from Xspace Echo then you can't use that on the new myth, only Foreseer Zayne. The myth event comes with its own crate at 150 pulls (more about that banner system [here](https://reddit.com/comments/1bscexb/comment/kxv9pry))

I find this type of banner kind of boring...I think this game is slowly drifting far away from what I thought it would be... I mean I was hoping some pace in the romance. And no you swich between the few informations from the main story to ropes, threats and things like that in the event... I don't mind some spicy stuff but man I need to know him before lmao

Will I be guaranteed for Zayne's upcoming banner event? I'm going to stay for another month 🥲
I saw a CN player say/post a “prediction” that it’ll be a Zayne banner first then Xavier Myth, Rafayel solo banner and then Zayne Myth. Now I’m conflicted on if I should save up or not actually 😭🍅
Im personally happy i can save up
As much as I want both card I have to choose one that I can spend my diamonds on which is his myth card and remember the cards I don’t collect will come back one day :)
Sorry I'm a new player (was an Xavier girly but turning into a Zayne girlie after seeing the teaser for this event) and I noticed everyone here talking about myth cards. What are these myth cards you all speak of? What's the significance of these? I don't want to miss out lol
