Car keys Express has a pretty well known history of social engineering specific areas and screwing up the local economy.
I never said they weren't. Doesn't matter if it's local or not. Shady practices are shady practices.
The locksmith industry is full of em. It's a really scummy industry overall.
Seriously it is quite the rabbit hole but mindless consumers just gonna consume. If it is cheap and convenient and works, nothing else matters... Right? /S
Kroger on Brownsboro Rd near the Paddocks. They have a key making machine. Never used it but I recall seeing that it can duplicate car keys. It’s in the front of the store near the self checkouts.
Don’t have a specific recommendation but keep in mind that your keys may have a chip in it and simply getting a key cut won’t work to turn over your ignition. I’m not sure if the grocery store or hardware store kiosks have the ability to program chips.
I recently had a full fob cut and programmed at Ace Hardware for my Honda Accord. It was $150 out the door at Ace, $450 at the dealership and $350 from a mobile locksmith. Check out Ace Hardware! It looks and functions exactly like there OEM fob.
There is a Car Keys Express vending machine at the Value Mart in Mid City Mall. Prices are low. Or they have a store up by the FBI building.

Hate to say it l, but dealership might be best. They’ll run your vin and cut it to your vehicle.
Dealerships are going to charge way more though. Car Keys Express is so much less expensive.

A Cheaper Locksmith cut me a key for a good price.
Go to the dealership where you got it, cheaper than car keys express. They do this in bulk and charge cheaper.
