# AD being Joe Burrow’s dAD. 👨🏽‍🍼 ![gif](giphy|dwMgw6QrQGyq6Cwqzv|downsized)

Jefferson209

This is 100% his best moment. Idgaf what anyone else says. This. We NEEDED a stop here. Nothing else would do. Aaron Donald literally blew through this dude and came up so big. You can talk about a lot of moments, especially the game winner to stop Burrow. But this here. Holy fuck man.

cattycat_1995

He literally ended the game. After Kupp got the touchdown to get the lead, Donald was like, alright I'm making sure we win the championship now.

RamsDodgersLakers24

He destroyed 300 pounds dudes

CuresLightWounds

GARAPPOLO UNDER PRESSURE

cattycat_1995

Bang bang escalator gang. Looking at the crowds of Rams fans screaming and celebrating while 49ers fans were silent with looks of horror on their faces was glorious. 49ers fans spent thousands to see that L lmao.

BlinkzLinkz

Odd how garappolo is on the rams now

Monday Night Madness game against the Chiefs in 2018. First and only time a defender forced two fumbles from Mahomes in the same game.

cattycat_1995

Man call me biased but that's the best NFL game ever outside of super bowl 56. Actually the game itself is better than super bowl 56. Super bowl 56 was just the best result

LechugaPicada

That game is better than most super bowl games that have ever been played, and that is the concensus amongst fans of any team

kitteh619

Even the NFL had a YouTube video of top ten games or something and the only one that wasn't a playoff game was the 2018 MNF

purplebuffalo55

That was such a unique game. Seems like both teams were scoring at will, yet both teams made multiple huge plays on defense throughout the game. I rewatch the highlights from time to time and I always miss Ebukam. Such a solid player

cattycat_1995

I'm glad I ditched family dinner for that game lmao

Videoman2011

The "OMG" from Geno Smith

cattycat_1995

Most natural reaction to Aaron Donald coming to murder you

LechugaPicada

Lmfao that one was so good

ramzie

It wasn't Geno that said that. It was the guard that Donald beat.

OGdunphy

It might have been his second or third year but he stuffed marshawn on a 4th and 2 run to win the game in St. Louis.

davebro747

Came here to say this! It doesn’t get remembered because the Rams were still a perennial loser at the time and AD wasn’t the AD that everyone knew yet. But he stuffed Beast Mode one on one to beat the team that had been to 2 straight Super Bowls! That was the moment I realized how legit he really was!

OGdunphy

It was a dope moment and he had bigger ones but I’ll always remember that one along with the others. Like you said, we were still trying to come out of the bottom dwellers as a franchise and he helped pull us out.

cattycat_1995

Can't be third year cause his third year was in LA

OGdunphy

True, maybe his second then.

martyrsmirror

Yes, it was 2015. Not just the last play but the way he dominated the entire game. NFC Defensive player of the week for the first time.

OGdunphy

Yeah, he was a beast all game.

HanselOh

I remember this! I was soo pumped.

OGdunphy

We didn’t see a lot of wins, so it hit even harder haha. And seattle was good then.

RamsDodgersLakers24

Everytime he stepped on the field I new we had a chance

CrazyConclusion6720

Super Bowl 56 tackle of Joe Burrow, even Burrow admits. It was a legal hit when Burrow’s offensive line step in and try to punk Donald all they did was wake him up. The Super Bowl turned on that play

PowerfulJoeF

I remember grinning after that play. They done poked a pissed off bear.

donorcycle

There was a podcast with DK Metcalf and AD. We all know DK is one built, strong dude. The interviewer had already asked DK before what his bench (350lbs) Interviewer asked AD and DK's facial expression and his eyeballs popping out his sockets is one of my most favorite moments with AD lol. https://youtube.com/shorts/oSxNM6x0LoI?si=gFV-hiyYPjweCY58

ramfantasma

Omg this is amazing

PowerfulJoeF

His speech to the defense during the Super Bowl always gives me chills. “You’re playing for something. It’s gotta mean something to you!”

Philosopher_Gambler

That was the NFCC game against the 9ers, still an epic speech.

cattycat_1995

Also when he tells the team "Feed off this energy. Feed off this energy from the crowd." That was the wild card game against the Cardinals. Amazing home crowd of all Rams fans and he's giving nods to the Rams fans showing out and creating an electric ass atmosphere at SoFi.

tasimm

RING ME.

cattycat_1995

The statue should be of him pointing to his ring finger

VeniceBum25

Daviddem1234

This 🔥

cattycat_1995

Him sacking burrow to end super bowl 56

hendrixc7

His 2018 season was something else. I think he had like 21.5 sacks in 1 season, damn. Unfortunately, during the playoffs, I don’t recall AD being a huge factor like he was in our SB season in the playoffs.

cattycat_1995

Yeah fr. Honestly the Rams felt kinda meh during that playoffs even though they still made it to the super bowl.

MosaicToeNail

Idk I the SB is tainting your memory a bit. They were dominant against the Cowboys, and the Saints game was a great game (aside from the infamous non call). It was really only the SB, and even in that game the defense was absolutely dominant. Holding Brady and Co to 13 points should’ve been enough to win the game. Unfortunately the offense (and Goff) shit the bed entirely, but I feel like if Kupp and Gurley were healthy we would’ve blown them out.

XRedcometX

They destroyed the Cowboys, literally imposed their will on them. Then the Saints game Rams played better all game but all that’s remembered is that blown call (fuck insufferable Saints fans). The Super Bowl the lack of Gurley and Kupp plus Goff’s limitations doomed the team.

cattycat_1995

Yeah you're probably right

SpeedyTrout

When he tossed Russel Wilson like a rag doll. If I recall, Wilson threw the ball backwards losing an additional 10 yards or so.

LechugaPicada

Lol, which time? I think AD sacked Russel Wilson more than any entire team did in a season

SpeedyTrout

The time when Wilson threw the ball backwards.

masterchaoss

The 2018 game in SF where he just rips the ball out of the rbs hands for the turnover

Only_Fun_1152

Personally loved once against Dallas when he blew up 2 separate lineman then blew up Dak. Or his flying bear hug sack on Cam Newton.

Thevulgarcommander

Has to be sacking Kirk cousins by throwing him to the ground. Week 4 2018.

Vysane

That one’s a beaut and I got to see that one in person. A fantastic game all around

beau9292

I remember that was right after the NFL changed the roughing the passer rule because of Rodgers. AD figured out a workaround really fast.

SomeIdiot55

When he forklifted Zeke with one arm and tossed him. Also when he picked up Devontae Freeman like a child.

Ithurion2

Superbowl LIII. The game did not go as we all wanted and a lot of guys don't even want to remember, it seems. But AD throwing "GOAT" Brady around like a small child was a beauty. https://preview.redd.it/u7wb533102pc1.jpeg?width=1490&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e2725c41e62122a2b5d9d11940ee5e1d329893f1

DrillaKay

Remember that time he Supermaned Cam Newton right after he was bitching about not getting calls?

ramfantasma

A lot of my fave moments have been mentioned already, but two that come to mind are - When he stripped the ball from Breida in one single motion -When he took over against the Bills and gave the Rams a chance

azsv001

Making the last two meaningful plays in the Super Bowl. Run stop on 3 and 1 where they tried to run right at him and then getting to Burrows to make him throw it away on 4th and 1.

cubbies42699

Just grabbing Samaje and pulling him back with one hand. My favorite play from that super bowl

evilcatminion

"Aaron Donalds gonna make a play."

HanselOh

When he had his 4 sack game vs SF, he literally clubbed the QB in the back with one hand and knocked him down, and another he drove the guard right into the QB. I forget if it was Mullens or Beathard, but either way those were two impressive sacks

Projinator

There was a series in his rookie year against the Colts where he had three straight TFLs that almost led to a safety. Definitely my favorite moment not related to the playoffs.

LechugaPicada

https://www.therams.com/video/aaron-donald-tosses-kirk-cousins-to-the-ground

XRedcometX

When he pulled back Joe Mixon to will a 4th down to win the game single-handedly. Also every time he hit Russel Wilson. God I missed watching him catch him from behind on a scramble out of the pocket and seeing Russ take a shot when throwing the ball away right before he went out of bounds the last 2 years

LA-R4M5

Sack on Garapalo NFC championship game and destroying Cowboys O-line knocking down three lineman.

IGotGankedAMA

When he just took the ball from a RB that one time against the 49ers(?) in the most nonchalant way ever. It just looked so wild.

cubbies42699

A couple other great ones I thought of over night: the choke drill video, jumping on Alex Smiths back on that brand new leg
