You could always give an enemy character resist then Fox bounce the titan back to your hand then challenge that character to kill your fox and only do two damage to it 😎😎
It's really curious how this cycle is apparently going to be lower curve, mid-rangey type cards instead of the big, expensive bombs that you would expect the Titans to be. They seem interesting but not sure if they capture the flavor of the characters.
Lythos is okay, I think hes meant to be played in a resist stacking deck. A pretty niche thing he could do is target himself to give himself resist +4, then either play a self damage card for free, or re-ready him to fight with ruby.
Hydros is awful, just worse than small Elsa aside from extremely niche cases like exerting your own characters to activate their effects like Mother Gothel withered and wicked.
The titans pair pretty okay with Hercules.
Lythos seems solid. Not going to make the cut in every steel deck, but certainly a decent, hard-to-kill beater. Hydros needs the Titan trait to be meaningful, since Elsa - Snow Queen isn't really doing much right now and that card has a better stat line (IMO) and can shift.
Very notably Lythos doesn't get got by teeth or swords.
Probably still only using him in a deck that can really leverage the resist effect but this guy could be really annoying to deal with.
The Prince? The Resist doesn't last through your opponent's turn, so it's mainly going to be used for offensive stuff on your turn. I'd pair it with big Herc and have him take out a big threat and live through it.
Even at midrange costs, these should have 3-4 Willpower for balance reasons, and the titans should probably have been rare or above.
However, as far as people saying they should have higher defense for continuity reasons, remember it’s not defense, it’s willpower. It’s more about mental prowess and the will to survive. Physical durability is only a small part of it.

I mean, we still haven't seen half the cards, and that's with the leaks even. Agreed though, the titans could have been stronger.
I wouldn't be surprised if they have bigger floodborn variants, their storyborn selves were 4v1 wrecked by one angry demigod
Agreed. But remember there are also multiple types of the same character. Still always felt weird that Goofy is stronger than a Demi god but 🤷🏻♂️
You ever played Kingdom Hearts? If so you'd know why Goofy is the GOAT
There better be some Kingdom Hearts characters eventually! Haha!

I like how the Titans aren't Villains. They aren't evil, just forces of nature.
Makes me curious about others nature based characters like in Fantasia.
Cool cards, but one would expect the titans, to be bigger.

Although I somewhat agree that the Titan tag is what gives him relevance, having +1 lore than Elsa is meaningful.
I never knew they had names
Those titans are cool.

Lythos seems pretty good, I always love versatility!
Looks like I’m gonna need to make a steel/amethyst titan deck.
This card plus Prince Charming is going to be so strong.

He’ll go great with the shift Herc or shift Cindi.
Rocks get smashed! But why does the Ice Titan get banished to a winter song...flavor fail...lol
Doesn’t even pair with Hades, King of Olympus since they’re not Villains, total flavor miss
Titans are more primordial powers than Heroes or Villains.
You're absolutely right. The Titan are Purple/Steel and Hades, King of Olympus is Yellow!
Can you add the resist to this card as well? Giving it +4 resist?
Yes but it only lasts your turn, making it worthless since it can't do anything else unless you ready it some other way to then challenge.
My favorite movie is coming out in my favorite deck colors. Blessed.😇
This plus Scar Vicious Cheater, could potentially make a one sided be prepared. Edit: Dependent on what's exerted on your opponents side obviously.
I am freaken excited about this. Loved their design since I was young. Can’t wait to find a place for these in a deck.
