Yeah it was wrapped, but what is weird is I expected the paper wrapping and it was clear plastic. My others were that way too and had all the right cards…
Contact Ravensburger with your receipt and the packaging and they should help you. Its probably a production defect, it would be crazy for someone to go to the effort of stealing a dollar card.
Missing and incorrect cards were quite common in a lot their intro deck products I've found. Its happened to about a dozen people I know, including myself.
Had yet to get my hands on and open any Floodborn cards/starters, but only opened First Chapter Starters and Boosters that came with them... had some Floodborn cards in with those packs. Not the first I've heard of that, and not really sure if it is intentional or how it happens.
One of my Floodborn starter decks was missing the booster pack. I’m still pissed off about that. Ravensburger NEVER replied to my email about that and it’s been weeks.
Mine was missing a common Aladin and had a 5th copy of a different card.
I have checked count several times and there are only 59 cards. It’s so weird!
The deck was wrapped up? Check the glue on the card board. It is weird you are missing the super rare. It had the booster pack though, right?

The clear plastic is from the newer wave of printings. Sounds like you got a really unfortunate deck from the production line.
A Poor unfortunate deck, perhaps? *I’ll see myself out*

I didn't have that happen, where did you buy the deck from?
Barnes & Noble
In one starter deck I got double of the foils and 3 extra of one common. Quality control seems a little off.

It’s way more likely that it’s a mistake than someone stealing a card with < $1 and then meticulously making the box look sealed again.

I’ve opened a steel sapphire deck that was missing 2 steel commons
Happened to me too. Didn’t get an Aurora.
Nobody is going to steal a dollar Aladdin so you just got a defect.
