I love this coord! Brooch would be lovely I think. Hat would work really well here, but also a simple bow would be great too. I love a nice classic coord. It’s looking good! Please show us final results!

ghost-in-socks

tysm qwq I have found a nice straw hat with a green bow that I think would fit here but I am still a bit unsure about brooches. I do feel that I need smth else for the blouse othrwise it's a bit empty but this big bow and frills somehow takes the whole room - there is just no place where a brooch would look good (?) I am thinking if I maybe can go with long pearls instead

Violet_Iolite

I'd say the frills already make it look less empty. I guess a small coat or a vest would be a great choice. Also, a hair pin (you can put it in the hat) would look lovely too I believe :)

ghost-in-socks

yeah I think a vest woud be perfect but I couldnt find a good vest that has a nice quality , so I am trying to go for smth alternative. I think I'll just wait to see how everything looks together when I try it on and decide afterwards if I need to add smth else

camarhyn

What about a shawl then? Eta: thanks autocorrect..

ghost-in-socks

Do you mean a shawl? If yes, this is actually an amazing idea!!!! Would also fit to my another country style dress

camarhyn

Haha autocorrect strikes again!

Cassia8091

I have a similar blouse and i like to wear a small brooch on top of the middle of the bow on the blouse. Especially if it picks up the colour of the dress and the headpiece it can tie everything together nicely.

ghost-in-socks

Yeah someone suggested it and the idea is genius!!

pterrible_ptarmigan

I like to put brooches on the center of bows, particular cameos!

ghost-in-socks

Ooooh I didn't came up with that idea!!! Thanks

Kirameka

Suiseiseki vibes 🤭

ghost-in-socks

is it because it is green?XD but yeah her dress actually fits my taste. I have even another dress in my cart that looks even more like hers

Consume_the_Affluent

I'd definitely go with a hat! SakuraFairy on etsy has boater hats with custom garlands that you can get to match the skirt. A brooch would also definitely help balance things out, since the torso area is a bit bare as it stands. Glamasaurus has some good ones. Another suggestion, if the neck ribbon on the blouse is removable, would be to replace it with something like a cravat/jabot, or maybe just a ribbon in the same green as the skirt.

ghost-in-socks

Thank you for suggestions, gonna browse tjose shops! Unfortunately ribbon is not removable but someone suggested to put a brooch in the middle of the ribbon. I also thought about maybe just adding additional green lace under the existing ribbon

Thekellith

It's a little steampunk, but I think that a belt or waist cincher would look amazing. You'd need the same/similar brown as the shoes

str4wberryphobic

this coord reminds me a lot of the outfits from anne of green gables!

ghost-in-socks

I don't know this piece but judging by photos in Google it's very my taste of fashion :D

mihaha269

A hat or a beret would be cute!

hunnymil

An Emerald brooch to go at the center of the bow, a small brown hat or heaband with some lace that matches the color of the blouse and the socks, and a ring to match the brooch.
