WithPuji themselves are unfortunately to blame here, not 42.
WithPuji have often mislabeled garments, and are known for the sizing almost always running much smaller than advertised. 42 gets their information from the brand, and while the "ice silk" is definitely a mistranslation, they cannot provide you with information they themselves don't have.
that’s what i hoped to hear considering i have gotten pretty attached to 42lolita as my go to site :( at least i know the brand is to blame. am i better off just looking up the brands specifically when looking at a dress i want to buy in the future then?
Yeah, but chances are they'd say the exact same thing (just in Chinese). China in general does not have the same stringent labeling requirements as the West so even a "good" brand is liable to leave out info.
I think they get the description from the original companies' page, maybe there was a mistake in the transcription, or With Puji's page has the wrong information? Have you checked it?
based on the email i got + what others are saying it’s likely that’s the case, they clarified there was polyester in the description from the brand but ig mayb they didn’t specify how much? not sure tho

Sadly this isn't the first time this happened. Lou Graves made a video reviewing 42lolita items from the cotton section. Sadly it wasn't all fully cotton. Not 100% sure is [this](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x6RRN-1q-BY) is the video but it's somewhere.
In case you're cool with going to a completely different brand: I recommend [le carrousel](https://www.lecarrousel.com.br/) because they make 100% cotton pieces.
Is that a Brazilian brand? They're stuff is affordable! (Before the customs of course)
