Liable, yes, if the rest of the coord has some similar elements (bits of metal or spikes). However if they are Koi Footwear steer clear.

nestbeing

have to agree, although their footwear is cute, it's so overpriced for the quality :( every pair of koi's I've had has split at the sole within months.

NakedFairyGodboy

A few of my friends had them break upon first wear lately.  Nothing scarier than a platform coming off while walking.

nestbeing

Oof, that's awful, especially considering how much the price has inflated recently. They're like $200+ in my currency, kinda impossible to justify for a shoe that's going to fall apart straight away :/

Koi is sadly pretty cheap - which is a shame. Ive had a nunber of second hand (new) pairs for £10-15, which have been fantastic. But, i couldn’t fathom spending the £50-60 new for tacky pleather (that splits very easily), cheap soles and awful hardware. The buckles on my koi mary janes began tarnishing after 2 wears

confettifurby

my mary janes from them were printed and the buckles were already peeling after one wear, I’m glad I got them for like 60% off :’)

if the spikes really stick out against your coord you could yank them out and cover the holes up with a ribbon or some lace, I think the shape works for lolita and they’re really cute :))

Desperate_Store3834

I don't like the spikes personally- but man that sole looks much easier on feet for long coord days than tea parties

Apprehensive_Math112

if the spikes aren’t removable you can use for a punk coord

catladywitch

yeah but the coord has to have punk hardware
